Reward the behavior you WANT to see! 🐶✨

If your pup is sitting calmly, walking nicely on the leash, waiting at the door, or choosing to check in with you—reward it! 🦴👏

Dogs are more likely to repeat behaviors that get them something they love. Instead of only correcting unwanted behavior, look for those good moments and make sure your pup knows they got it right! ❤️

💡 Remember: Good behavior doesn’t always need a big reward. A treat, praise, a favorite toy, or even a quick game can let your pup know, “YES! That’s exactly what I wanted!”

🐕 Consistency + patience + positive reinforcement = a happier, more confident pup!

🐾💙 MEET OUR GM: CHRISTINE! 💙🐾

We’re excited to introduce you to the person helping keep everything running at No Leash Needed Hampton — our General Manager, Christine! 🐶✨

Christine has been with No Leash Needed for 2 years. She started with the company at our O’Fallon, IL location as Resort Manager, then moved to Kirkwood, MO as Resort Manager before making her way to Hampton, MO, where she is now our GM and has been with us for a year! 🎉

Before stepping into management, Christine spent 10 years working as a behaviorist dog trainer and in veterinary medicine. Her experience doesn’t stop there—she has also worked in EMS and horse training! 🐕🐴🚑

At home, Christine has 3 dogs and a turtle "Dwight":
🐾 Stella – 10-year-old Lab
🐾 Willow – 5-year-old Pit/Lab mix
🐾 Greta – 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, who you’ve probably seen hanging out in the office! 🐕‍🦺💕

When she’s not at No Leash Needed, Christine loves traveling, spending time with friends, and doing activities with Greta. She’s also a HUGE Disney adult 🏰✨ and is working toward her goal of visiting all 7 continents! 🌎✈️

Everyone meet training pup, Lucy! 🐾💗 Lucy is our Training Dog of the Week, and she is just about finished with her 3-week Puppy Preschool program! She has been such a fun student to have around and is full of energy, love, and smarts. Lucy has made fantastic progress throughout her program, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything she has learned! Check out the pictures below of Lucy showing off some of her commands!
