Judy's Forgotten Jewells We rescue animals in danger of euthanasia and place them into forever loving homes. We are based out of Jewell Animal Hospital, and founded by Patricia L.

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells became a licensed Non-Profit Animal Rescue Group in the summer of 2009! Smith, DVM. The name Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is in honor of Dr. Smith’s mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Since starting rescue work in 2006 Judy’s Forgotten Jewells has placed over 500 Dogs, Cats, Puppies, & Kittens in forever loving homes! Most of our animals come from sh

elters where they were at risk of being euthanized! We are run solely on volunteers and clinic staff! Our adoption fee helps cover a fraction of the cost to spay/neuter, vaccinate, microchip implantation & activation, medical treatment, and any food used to feed the animal! We are a NO KILL rescue, so once an animal is adopted that opens up a space for us to bring in a new at risk animal! We are very passionate about our rescues and strongly encourage all pet owners to spay or neuter their pets to help end the cycle of pet overpopulation!

Now named Murray, this sweet boy is living his best life, napping by the Christmas tree, enjoying a big backyard, and playing with tons of toys. We’re so happy he found the perfect home just in time for the holidays! ❤️

Meet Phoebe - Thriving in Foster & Ready for Her Forever Home!

Phoebe, one of Ruby’s pups, has been doing absolutely amazing in her foster home, and we are so proud of how far she’s come.

✨ Here’s what Phoebe has been doing great with:
• She’s almost completely potty trained!
• Sleeps through the night (even if she’s an early riser who’s excited to start her day!)
• Uses a jingle bell on the door to ask to go outside
• Her mouthy/nippy behavior has decreased significantly
• She walks well on a leash with the help of a training collar
• When she has an active day walks, playtime, and socializing she truly shines

She is trying her best, and that’s all Phoebe wants: to learn, to please, and to feel safe.

Phoebe would thrive in a patient, active home that understands she’s still young and still learning. But with love, routine, and guidance, she is turning into the most wonderful dog.

Phoebe Is Looking for Her Forever Home 💛

Meet Phoebe, one of Ruby’s puppies. This silly, energetic girl is full of personality and has so much love to give.

Phoebe loves to play, especially with other dogs, and once she’s relaxed she turns into the sweetest snuggle bug who will happily curl up in your lap. 💕

She’s still learning her manners and working on things like house training and leash skills, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can help guide her as she continues to grow. Because she can get mouthy when excited, an adult-only home would be the best fit.

She just needs someone willing to give her the chance.

Meet Addy (Formerly Mulan)- A Resilient, Playful Girl Searching for Her True Forever Home 💗

Addy’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but her heart has stayed as warm and loving as ever. As a tiny puppy, she was rescued by the police after being found in a dangerously hot car in the middle of July.

Even after such a scary beginning, Addy grew into a sweet, affectionate girl who quickly captured everyone’s hearts. She was adopted and loved but recently returned due to no fault of her own.

Now back in our care, Addy is showing us every day just how bright her spirit truly is. She’s playful, loves to go outside, and will never turn down a tasty treat. She enjoys being around people and soaking up as much affection as she can get.

Meet Reginald Purrsworth – aka Reggie!

This big retired tomcat has been with us since January, and we just can’t believe he’s still waiting for his forever home.

Reggie is the definition of a gentleman, sweet, affectionate, and always down for a snuggle on the couch. He’s your classic lovey boy cat who just wants to nap in sunbeams and enjoy some quiet company. 💕

He gets along with most cats, but hey, even the best of us have our moments. 😉 He’s a social butterfly when he’s comfortable, but he tends to be a bit shy during adoption appointments. That might be why he’s still here, but we promise he’s truly one of the sweetest and most loving cats in the shelter.

If you're looking for a chill, cuddly companion who’s ready to settle into retirement with you, Reggie might just be your guy. 🛋️🐱
