We know everyone is excited to hit the trails again — trust us, we are too 🤎🐴

Unfortunately, we will NOT be opening this weekend 5/9 at Pine River Stables.

Between the wet weather and muddy conditions, it’s taken longer than expected to get into the trails and finish preparing some new trail areas for the season. We want to make sure everything is safe, beautiful, and ready for the kind of rides you know and love before we officially open.

The good news? Our website is now accepting waitlist requests for NEXT weekend, and we are hopeful Mother Nature finally cooperates with us ☀️

Rain rain and more rain. It’s hard to get trails and horses prepped for the season when we keep getting rain.

We still haven’t been able to get the tractor or gator into the woods to get trees off the trail. (You seen our last attempt.)

I know it seems dry in places and still our gully land is a muddy mess from the amount of rain this spring with more rain supposed to be coming.

We are not going open this weekend 5/9 as we had hoped and will aiming for next weekend. Plus then our staff can spend time with their families for Mother’s Day.

Looking for a Mother’s Helper (Great Fit for a Responsible Homeschool Tween/Teen)

We’re a busy ranch/farm family looking for a dependable extra set of hands a few days a week. This is NOT full nannying — more of a “mommy’s helper” role while I work nearby.

Great opportunity for a homeschooled teen who:
- enjoys kids
- likes being outdoors
- is responsible and patient
- can help keep little ones engaged and active
- is comfortable around farm/ranch life

Duties may include:
- playing with/keeping an eye on kids while I work nearby
- helping with snacks/lunches
- outdoor play supervision
- simple crafts/activities
- helping keep kid areas picked up
- occasional help around the ranch/property

Perks may include horseback riding opportunities and hands-on experience around the ranch for the right fit.

Ideal for someone energetic, kind, and able to redirect kids without being glued to a phone.

Located near St. Clair

Please message me with:
- age
- experience with children
- availability
- transportation situation
- a little about yourself and why you’d be a good fit

Homeschool families encouraged to reach out!

Preseason prep is going rough. As you can see Jakobi and Sadie trying to push out the gator for the 3rd time. We are trying to get rolling for the season but every time the river goes over the banks, we are getting pushed back. We are trying to open for next weekend 5/9, and honestly I’m starting to wonder in we are going to make it.
