I have 25+ years of riding experience and am continually taking dressage lessons myself to further my dressage education. At Better Beginnings my first goal is to provide an enjoyable and safe riding experience whether you own your own horse, lease, or use a school horse. I believe dressage is the foundation of all riding disciplines and any horse and rider can benefit from the principles of dressage. I strive to meet the client's individual need, whether that means heading to the show ring, conditioning your trail horse, or providing your horse with a more versatile skill set. School horses are available at J.B. Stables, however I can travel to any barn in St. Clair or Macomb counties (mileage may apply.) Riding lesson fees include: $30/half hour, $50/hour. Horse training, tune-up rides, and other services: please call for pricing. Helmets and closed-toed shoes are required. Working through cold winters and hot summers becomes well worth it when I see my students grow, mature, strive to learn more, and form lasting bonds with animals who make us better people.
