Breaking news from Dolly’s Dream Store: 14 week old baby Draco had his very first nail trim…and absolutely nailed it (pun fully intended).

No squirming, no theatrics, just calm, cool, collected baby bun energy. We’re honestly considering hiring him to teach nail trim etiquette classes to the adult bunnies.

After his big spa moment, Draco got the full VIP treatment - a grand tour of the shop. He hopped around like he was doing a security inspection, making sure everything was up to his standards. We’re pretty sure he gave the toy section 5 stars, though he seemed suspiciously interested in the treat section.

We were so glad to meet Draco and his parents today.

He reminded us why we love doing what we do. Something tells us this isn’t the last time Draco will be strutting through the store like he owns it.

One of our fosters strolled in today carrying a “What Would Dolly Do” rolling pin.

Not hay. Not pellets. Not litter. A big, bright, pink Dolly Parton rolling pin…for decor.

Incredible. Because if there’s one thing Dolly would do, it’s look fabulous while rolling out biscuits and saving bunnies.

We never know what our fosters are going to show up with - sometimes it’s veggies, sometimes it’s surprise bunnies, and sometimes it’s kitchenware that belongs in a pink museum.

Either way, we’re obsessed.

1. Black hat with the 3 bunny design, because your bunnies aren’t the only ones who deserve to look good. Treat yourself too!

2. Cottontail Café decorative cutting board. Super cute, but for some reason it doesn’t sell well and that honestly bums us out.

3. Flower ZippyPaws puzzle - perfect for smart buns who like a challenge before their dinner.

4. Apple twig tree. You can hang snacks from it for fun (and to watch your bun channel their inner lumberjack).

5. Bunny Business hay roller in pink is still our best-selling color, because pink just makes hay taste better, obviously.

Last Monday we were sitting around, waiting on a new intake to arrive…when suddenly, someone just strolled right in and started shopping.

Small detail: we were closed.

No big deal, but omg…imagine catching us in bunny-rescue-goblin-mode instead of store ready.

So just a friendly reminder: Dolly’s is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! (Unless you want to see us looking feral and holding half an IV bag for a rabbit.)

Absolutely loving this Dolly’s Chapstick!

Why did I choose pomegranate flavor? Because I thought the chapstick would be pink inside.

Spoiler: it’s not. Zero tint, zero pink. Just pure, smooth, pomegranate goodness.

Something wild happened last week!

Months ago, we were called to catch 3 dumped bunnies in the woods.

We didn’t have intake space at the time, so our friends at Mid Rivers Pet Adoption Center jumped in to help.

Our volunteer rescue team was able to catch all 3 and bring them over to our rescue partner.

Later, when we had room, we took 2 of them into our program - Boone and Chainsaw. The 3rd bunny had already been adopted.

So imagine our surprise when Dale showed up for nail trims on Friday! We’d never met him before, but he looked EXACTLY like Chainsaw, who was hanging out with us that day.

After chatting with Dale’s mom and hearing his story, it all made sense. Dale was the 3rd bunny we had rescued months ago!

This moment reminded us that Dolly’s isn’t just a rescue - it’s a community. We’re so glad Dale and his mom are now part of ours.

Sometimes, the bunny world really does come full circle!

This Saturday from 10-5, it’s Picture Day at Dolly’s Dream Store!

We’ll have a variety of safe, lightweight bows ready for your bunny to wear for just a minute while we capture their best angles.
