We’ve been sending out tons of online orders lately…and we’ve seen some shipping delays that aren’t due to the buns nibbling your packages.
As a small business, we want to be super transparent, so here’s what’s going on: both United Parcel Service (UPS) and United States Postal Service (USPS) were doing great…until the recent federal government shutdown started putting weird ripple effects across shipping and supply chains.
Fun fact: USPS remains operational and says their mail delivery isn’t directly impacted by the shutdown, because they’re funded differently.
But even so, the reality of “downstream delays,” staffing pressure, extra inspections, and slower hand-offs means everything can take a little longer than usual.
So here’s what we’re doing: if your package is moving slower than we’d like - thank you for your patience and for checking in with us!
To make it up to you, we’re slipping a little surprise into each order (because you deserve it). Every purchase still supports our rescue mission, so even when logistics get ugly, your kindness keeps the buns hopping.
