The kitten room is overflowing with tiny paws, loud purrs, and endless zoomies! 🐱💕

We've had lots of new furry faces become adoption-ready this week, which means there are even more adorable kittens waiting to meet their future families.

Remi has traded shelter life for foster life... and he's thriving! ❤️🐾

Not only has he been settling in beautifully, but his foster family has also helped us learn even more about this handsome 2-year-old. The funniest discovery? Remi is afraid of mirrors. We can't blame him... seeing such a handsome face staring back would surprise anyone! 🪞

Remi is looking for a family that can provide him with structure, daily exercise, and lots of love. He's a fun, energetic guy who loves to play, so he'd do best with older children and adults who can match his enthusiasm.

He's also done well with other dogs after a proper introduction. In fact, before heading to foster, Remi had already formed his own little friend group at the shelter. 🐶

How has no one adopted Boise yet? 💔

We're asking ourselves the same question.

Boise is 3 years old, and for the past 210 days (7 months), she's been waiting for someone to choose her. In all that time, she's received zero adoption applications.

The hardest part? We know exactly what kind of dog Boise is because she's been thriving in foster care.

She's housebroken, crate trained, incredibly smart, and absolutely adores people and other dogs. She's happiest curled up inside with her family (she'd gladly skip the outdoors), and she's the kind of dog who just wants to be where her people are.

Boise is looking for an adult-only home without cats, but she would love a canine sibling to share her life with. More than anything, she's ready to finally know what it feels like to be home. And once she finds her family, we know she'll never want to leave their side.

Somewhere out there is the person who's been waiting for a dog exactly like Boise.

We just need to help them find each other.

Because Boise is currently living in foster care, you'll need to submit an adoption application first so we can schedule a meet-and-greet. We promise she's worth it. ❤️

Looking for a chill cat? Molly's your girl. 😸🐾

At 4 years old, Molly is the definition of laid-back. She's a shy girl at first and may need a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she's incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people.

While she enjoys the occasional playful moment, Molly's favorite activities include finding the coziest blanket in the house, soaking up a sunny spot, and perfecting the art of relaxation. She's litter box trained and would be happiest as the only cat in the home, where she can have all the love (and the best napping spots) to herself.

📣 Big news! Rudy & Stella are coming back to Five Acres this weekend!

If you've been wanting to meet either of these two amazing dogs, here's your sign!

Stella is already back at Five Acres and will be here through the weekend, and Rudy will be joining her beginning Friday through the weekend. While they're each looking for their own forever family, they'll both be on campus this weekend, making it the perfect time to come say hello and see if one—or maybe even both!—is your perfect match.

These two have been waiting far too long for someone to choose them, and we'd love for this weekend to be the one that changes everything. Sometimes all it takes is one visit to find your new best friend.

We'll be sharing a second post with fresh photos and more about each of their personalities once they're both back onsite, so stay tuned! 📸

Love is in the air in our Shy Cat Condo! 💕

Our Shy Cat Condo is home to feline friends who enjoy the company of other cats but prefer to take things slow with people. With a little patience, quiet voices, and gentle movements, these sweet kitties blossom into the most loving companions.

Our current residents, Lottie and Marvin, have become the cutest duo! They're often found cuddled together in a cozy cat tree.

🐾 Lottie is a gorgeous 2-year-old torbie who came to us as a mama. She absolutely adores other cats and has a gentle, loving personality.

🐾 Marvin is a handsome black-and-white 3-year-old boy who forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. Once you're in his circle, you'll have a loyal best friend for life.

While Lottie and Marvin have become fast friends here at Five Acres, they are not required to be adopted together. Each would make a wonderful companion in a home with another friendly cat.

BREAKING NEWS: Chappell Bones is in the building! 🚨🐾

After spending the last few months thriving in foster care, Chappell is back at Five Acres while her foster family is on vacation—and she's hoping this visit ends with a forever family. ❤️

At 3 years old and 60 pounds, Chappell is housebroken, incredibly sweet, and full of goofy, class-clown energy. She'd do best in a home without cats and may do well with another dog if it's the right fit.

Stop by Five Acres before the afternoon of August 5 and see if Chappell is the missing piece of your family.

BRINDLE ALERT! If your favorite color is tiger stripe... this is your lucky day. 🐅🤎

Meet our Brindle Brigade! We currently have five brindle beauties looking for loving homes, and trust us, they're just as amazing on the inside as they are on the outside.

🐾 Mikey (1 year old) – The perfect mix of playful and sweet. This goofy guy will keep you laughing with his silly antics before curling up for some snuggles.

🐾 Sienna (2 years old) – The definition of a good girl. She's people-friendly, dog-friendly, and overflowing with sweetness.

🐾 Tank (3 years old) – A 76-pound sweetheart who just wants to be wherever his people are. Tank is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is available for foster-to-adopt.

🐾 Buck (1 year old) – This gentle boy was found as a stray in rural Missouri, but he's settling in beautifully and showing everyone what a kind soul he is. He's also available for foster-to-adopt while receiving heartworm treatment.

🐾 Cinnamon (4 years old) – Despite spending much of her life chained outside, resulting in heartworm disease and a cloudy eye, Cinnamon hasn't let her past dim her spirit. She's incredibly loving and is also looking for a foster-to-adopt family while she heals.

Together, this Brindle Brigade has overcome so much, and now they're ready for the happy endings they deserve.
