Remember Harry? That tiny, 3-pound, 10-week-old pup who was hairless and had a heart murmur when we first met him? He’s now Bitz—and his transformation has been nothing short of amazing.

At just 5 months old, Bitz suddenly lost the use of his back legs. We tried everything—steroids, crate rest, x-rays—but no clear answers ever came. Still, we weren’t giving up on him.

We took a leap of faith and brought him to Dr. Alexis Strode at The Well Balanced Animal for chiropractic care. After just a month, we started to see progress. Now, 4 months later, Bitz is running, hopping, and even getting up on his back legs like a pro!

He’s about 25 lbs now, full of personality, and completely adored by his forever foster family. He also has a big brother, Chunk, who he loves to climb all over and annoy in true little brother fashion—it's pure joy to watch.

Tiny checking In to say HEY!!! — one of the sassiest, most lovable goofballs at from Lucky K9! Tiny is the definition of a medical mess with a heart of gold and a serious love for comfy couches. Despite her health challenges, she lives her best life every day thanks to her incredible adopter, who’s fully committed to keeping her ailments at bay.

These photos capture peak Tiny energy: laid-back, belly-out, and full of attitude — because when you’re as fabulous as she is, lounging is a full-time job. Thank you to her amazing human for giving her the love and care she deserves. This is exactly what rescue is all about.

Spring has officially sprung, and so has the Easter Earl Bunny!

Earl, one of our beloved sanctuary dogs, is soaking up the sunshine and sending you all the warmest spring wishes. He may be a little too relaxed to hop around delivering eggs, but don’t be fooled—this sweet boy is always spreading joy in his own way!

🐾🐕 Meet Universe! 🐕🐾

Universe is an absolute gem💎— listens well, fully potty trained, and walks great on a leash (just gets a little wiggly with excitement when you first clip it on). Once you’re out the door, she’s an awesome walking buddy and LOVES being outside, especially if it means hanging out with her people.

Universe is a total cuddle bug at heart ❤️ and super treat (and cheese!) motivated. She gets along wonderfully with other animals, adores kids, and lights up around people.

Her favorite game? Tug-of-war with a rope! Fetch isn’t really her thing (yet), but she’s happy to entertain herself and stay engaged with you.

Today, we said goodbye to our beloved Magoo — also affectionately known as Magoo Rusty Luv-Buckets.

Magoo came into our lives in 2017 after being found running down a Florida turnpike, dragging a heavy toe-chain behind him. Thankfully, a kind soul got him to safety and reached out to us. That day marked the beginning of a new chapter for Magoo, one filled with safety, comfort, and unconditional love.

He was one of a kind — gentle, goofy, soulful — and he touched the hearts of everyone who had the joy of knowing him. From the moment he arrived, he became family, not just to us but to so many who followed his journey and cheered him on over the years.

Magoo was deeply loved. He knew he was loved. And we were lucky to have had him as long as we did.

Rest easy, sweet boy. You were truly special. We’ll carry you with us always.

Meet Xena!
This gorgeous girl with the most amazing blue eyes is the last of her litter still waiting for her forever home — through no fault of her own!

Xena is a 4-5 month old sweetheart with an adventurous, happy-go-lucky personality. She’s currently around 15lbs and expected to stay a smaller medium-sized dog. 🐾

She’s mostly potty trained, great with other dogs, and LOVES everyone she meets. People, pups, car rides — she’s just happy to be part of the fun!

Everyone, meet TaterTot—a 9-year-old French Bulldog girl who was found wandering the streets, alone and in heartbreaking condition. We searched everywhere for her family—posting online, putting up flyers, contacting local shelters—but no one stepped forward. Her stray hold is now officially over, and the microchip is registered to a breeder who refuses to return our calls.

So now, she’s ours—and we’re doing everything we can to get her the care she needs.

🏡 We are also urgently looking for a foster home to care for her through her recovery. She needs a calm, loving place to heal while we get her medical needs addressed and search for her forever family.

TaterTot is in rough shape:
🏥 • A quarter-sized mast cell tumor that needs surgical removal
👁️ • Horner’s Syndrome in one eye
👂 • A double ear infection so severe her ear canals are completely blocked and inflamed
🦷 • A mouth full of pain—she desperately needs a dental

Despite it all, she is sweet, gentle, and trusting. She’s clearly suffered in silence for far too long—and now we have a chance to change her story. But it’s going to take a lot of medical care, and we need help to cover the costs. She gets along great with everyone she meets, dogs and kids Included!!

URGENT FOSTER OR RESCUE NEEDED – SWEET GIRL LEFT BEHIND

A kind-hearted family took in this sweet pup after their neighbor moved away and left her behind. She’s been nothing but gentle and loving since arriving, and she’s clearly been through more than she should have.

She’s in need of cherry eye surgery, and while the family is doing everything they can to help, they’re not able to keep her long-term. This girl deserves a safe place to heal, rest, and feel loved.

She’s been getting along well with the family’s dog and LOVES to play! She’s still young and full of life, despite everything she’s been through.

Please consider opening your home or helping us connect her with a rescue that can give her the care she needs.
