Big Papa is the king of chill! This 13-year-old gentle man spends his days lounging in his favorite bed, only emerging to stroll around the lounge, get some pets, and make sure all is well. Then, it's back to his bed for some serious relaxation. Big Papa is looking for a forever home where he can continue to live his best life. Interested in meeting him? Ask our cat wranglers to take you to his cozy spot if you can't find him in the lounge.

What can we say about Miss Chloe? She is definitely a “look but don’t touch” kitty… for now! Chloe is very active in the lounge, especially on quieter days, but she prefers to observe from a distance. She is always first in line for wet food and treats, yet she still keeps her distance when it comes to hands getting too close. We respect Chloe’s boundaries and will give her all the time she needs.

However, she absolutely loves the company of other kitties and has many friends in the lounge. It's adorable to watch her play, as she engages in some hardcore playtime like a kitten! As we continue to help Chloe on her socialization journey, we encourage visitors to spend time with our shyer cats to aid them along the way. Get down low, talk softly to them, and offer gentle pets if they are receptive. Little by little, we’ll prepare them for their forever homes.

Nina is a gentle soul at 12 years young, looking for a quiet, loving home to spend the rest of her life. She’s the ultimate lap cat—calm, affectionate, and happiest when curled up next to someone who loves her back. When Nina first arrived, she was covered in mats and had to be shaved, but her beautiful coat is growing in nicely now and she’s rocking a fuzzy new look!

This weeks Naughty vs Nice🙀😸

Nice: Audrey (long hair calico) was a no brainer for nice cat of the week. She is so full of love and has been brave about seeking out affection on her own terms 🥹. While she prefers a more quiet approach, she is definitely a fan favorite of those who seek her out. Audrey is our certified good girl and we’re so happy we get to love on her while she waits for her furever home. ♥️

Naughty: A face we’ve all come to know and love at Cat Zen, Bella winning naughty cat of the week (again 🤣) is no surprise! This girl keeps us on our toes and we love her for it but someone needs to tell her there’s no parkour indoors!! Don’t worry Bella, we’ll be there to get you out of whatever predicament you find yourself in 💪🏼😹♥️

Meet Gravy, our lovable buff boy 🧡! He and his brother Giblet joined us a few months ago, shy at first, but now they own the lounge 😅. Ideally, we'd love to see Gravy adopted with Giblet, but if not, a friendly feline friend at home is a must! They thrive on playtime and kitty companionship. Come visit Gravy and the gang 😸
