Injured bird part 2 after a couple of minutes of resting in my hand after the hard hit to the window, she started to look more alert, like she could focus again. She still wanted to stay in my VERY dirty hands..remember I was gardening when I picked her up after the loud bang! She still didn't want to get off onto a limb, so I just held her
until.

My 4 white angel horses! I started this rescue to save more in remembrance of my 2 dogs who lost their lives with 21 other dogs at a boarding place in Arizona (Gilbert23). My heart had been broken with the loss of 4 dogs over a 4 year time span, and my mother was just diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. I didn't know the colors of the horses coming on our first truck from AZ to the sanctuary in 2021. 4 of these horses were white and two had my dogs names who l'd lost in the past! I call these my angel horses...to fill that hole in my heart
And I have the joy of helping them now in their journey..two have cancer, one a severe leg injury. (able to walk only 6 feet when she arrived and now jumps & runs) and the other elderly retired, and injured! Now they can just relax and be a horse..safe & enjoying life!
Love knows no bounds!!

Injured bird part 1
I was gardening close to the house when I heard a bird hit the window really hard.
Running over, it was lying lifeless on the porch couch..! picked it up to assess..
