Dear Diary,
Today I tried a new delicacy: Sister’s Underwear. 10/10 flavor, 0/10 experience afterward. Dr. Himmelstein made me give it back. I am unamused, but my stomach feels much better.

In all seriousness, troublemaker Sophia gave her mom quite a scare again as she has a habit of eating things she shouldn't!

Intestinal blockages from fabric are a major hazard for pups. Thanks to quick action, Dr. Himmelstein successfully induced vomiting and avoided an emergency surgery! 🩺✨

🚨 HEAT ADVISORY 🚨 It is scorcher out there today, and our pets feel the heat much faster than we do! Because dogs and cats can’t sweat like humans, high temperatures can become a medical emergency in a matter of minutes.
Keep your furry family members safe with these quick rules of thumb:
🐾 Test the pavement: If it's too hot for the back of your hand for 7 seconds, it's too hot for their paws. Stick to the grass!
🏠 Keep them inside: Limit outdoor time to quick bathroom breaks.
💧 Water everywhere: Ensure they have access to fresh, cool water both inside and out.
🚗 NEVER leave them in a car: Even with the windows cracked, a parked car can reach lethal temperatures in minutes.
If you notice heavy panting, bright red gums, or lethargy, get them into the AC and call your closest Emergency Room immediately. Stay cool out there! ☀️🐾

The secret's out—Shannon just graduated from the Penn Foster Vet Tech program and passed her credentials! 🍾🐾 We’ve always known she was a rockstar, but now she’s got the official license to prove it.⭐️
