This picture really encapsulates why our work means so much to us, and why we keep walking through the shelter doors everyday!

Crystal came to us from a high intake shelter in Louisiana recently. Her story is one no animal should ever experience. This sweet and endearing girl was found tied to a post, discarded by her family. What was worse, her puppies were with her, and by the time someone found her, they sadly did not make it.

Now, despite her tribulations, this girl is still trusts and loves humans. Even when she has every reason not to.

THIS. This is why we do what we do. This is what keeps us coming back for more everyday.

Congratulations and THANK YOU to Crystal's new family. We appreciate you giving this loving girl a chance at the life she deserves!

Minnie's new Mom saw her online and fell deeply in love. It was meant to be, as when they showed up to the adoption event, Minnie was still available and waiting to go home with them! Wow! What an amazing day we had today at Okemo Mountain Resort for our Adoption Event! Thank you to all who came out and adopted, donated and just came to experience the wonderful day! A huge shout out to our volunteers and staff, who worked very hard to make this event happen!
