**This cat is NOT at the shelter. This is a courtesy post--for more information or if you are interested in adopting, please use the contact information in the posting**

I'm looking to rehome a small Maine C**n cat. He weighs about 12 lbs and is about 2 1/2 years old. I rescued him from FL after two hurricanes so his age is approximate. His name is Freddy.

🐾He is neutered and microchipped
🐾Up to date on all his vaccinations
🐾An indoor/outdoor cat
🐾A very lovable boy
🐾A great mouser
🐾Never gone the bathroom in the house
🐾Is not a cat that has ever thrown-up
🐾He will come with all the supplies you need including an automatic dry food feeder, a metal (not plastic) litter box, food, flea and tick supplies for 10 months, toys, scratching pole, etc.

Please contact MJ at [email protected].

Well, we have a GREAT problem to share! 🥳🐾

We have adopted out ALL of our adoptable cats and have only ONE adoptable dog currently at the shelter!!

We will be CLOSED Wednesday October 28th and Thursday October 29th for super cleaning of the shelter and for our spay and neuter clinic on Thursday.

Dog walkers are able to come still. We do have a few dogs that are not yet available that would love some walks! We will be closed for all other volunteer options these days. Thank you for understanding.

If anyone is interested in meeting Charlie, our one pup we have for adoption, please feel free to contact us via phone, email or message. We would be happy to schedule an appointment one of these days to visit him. 🐾

This adoption hit us right in the feels! 🐾🧡

Chad has been with us awhile, pretty shut down and scared, resorting to being pretty reclusive in his community room.

Enter Dusky! We put these two kitties together in a room and they instantly became besties! Dusky's sweet demeanor and love for humans broke Chad out of his shell.

Today, this wonderful human decided to visit and adopt them TOGETHER! Thank you for keeping these two as a pair. Congratulations 🎊

Meet Charlie 🧡🐾

This handsome boy is getting into the holiday spirit 🎃

Charlie is a 2 year old, small breed, tripod and he is our ONLY dog available for adoption at the moment! While Charlie may be missing a leg, he is not missing an ounce of personality or s***k.

Charlie is looking for a special place to land--a more quiet, calm, low traffic home where he can feel safe and settle slowly. Charlie can be selective about his inner circle, taking him time to warm up to new people. Once you are in his click--you will be in for good. He loves belly rubs, walkies in the field and smooches, once he is comfortable.

Charlie should be adopted by an experienced dog owner, who has skills with dog body language. He would be best in a home without young children. Teens may be ok, pending an introduction. He was in a foster home with another dog, but can be a bit selective here too, so an introduction before adoption is a must for this s***ky boy. He is also Heartworm positive, so will need to stay in VT, we will pay for his treatment.

If you have a quiet home, patience in your heart and the experience to give Charlie the environment in which he will thrive, he may just be your perfect spooky-season companion! Come meet Charlie Wednesday-Saturday from 12-4pm. 🎃🐾🍂

As part of the initiative with the ASPCA we have reduced Charlies adoption fee to $150.
