It is that time of year! Weather is warming up and people are excited fo Summer vacations. Lucky Mutz has several options for your pets vacations with us. Lucky Mutz does not comingle dogs here unless you have dogs that reside together and get along. The Mutz all recieve that special one on one attention here. We have The Lodge which are our indoor/outdoor options, The Retreat Suites and Woof Manor for that bougie pet! Visit our "NEW" website and see everything we have to offer! With onsite owners, you never have to worry about your pets being alone! You can now make your reservation online at your convenience or feel free to give us a call! We look forward to seeing you! Oh yes, you may just see your dog or cat featured on our new site! We foster for The National Great Pyrenees Rescue. Kennel Assistant Position

This position will be providing the daily care and support to the pets in our facility. This includes feeding, exercising, monitoring the health and behavior of the pets, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the animals, strong attention to detail and be able to physically handle large dogs.

Also, you must have the willingness to work weekends, holidays and flexible hours as needed. These hours can be mornings, mid day and evenings. Have strong communication skills and the ability to work well with your team.
The right candidate may be cross trained to greet and assist our guests with check-ins and check-outs and other front desk responsibilities.

The starting wage is 13.00 an hour and up depending on the level of experience with wages increases that are based on your performance. This will be 20+ hours a week.

Just look at her! This is Koda. She was rescued with Michellin as a bonded pair. We couldn’t say no to saving her too. She is a Mountain Cur and a tiny thing💕 Koda is about 5, gets along with other dogs, is very loving, higher energy but gets calm after her outburst. She is housebroken, likes to lead the way on your walks 🐶She isn’t a Great Pyrenees but thinks she is😂

There is a pic of her with the pyr for her size reference. She would make a wonderful addition for your home. She is a precious girl🙏🏻

When gettimg a new shelter pup or rescue dog it is very important to remember and follow the 3-3-3 rule. It is very easy to get excited about your new family member but they need to be given the time to adjust. Following these guidelines will help your pup to be the best he can be! Pawsitively Terrific. Lucky Mutz is shining a bright light on our wonderful staff. You get to meet the people that take care of your pets while vacationing with us. Say hi to Allie! Allie is our Front Desk Coordinator as well as our Senior Kennel Attendant. who can’t get enough of the dogs! She loves to spoil the pups with lots of love and treats! Seeing the Mutz happy always makes for the perfect time to capture the moment📸. Allie has a few fur babies of her own, Finn (Beagle), Lucy (Chihuahua), and Hudey (Boxer). Allie loves Finn’s big ears, Lucy’s love for cuddles, and Hudey’s butt wiggles! What a perfect combo! A fun fact about Ali is that she can leg press 530 lbs.! . Her favorite color is sage green, she loves Greek Yogurt and her favorite hobby is working! She loves all the Mutz but will tell you that she is extra fond of Chip Grimes and Ellie & Oscar. Next time you’re in, say hi to Allie

Lucky Mutz Pet Resort (formally Neal Kennels) is a boarding facility that prides ourselves on clean kennels and caring for your cats and dogs like we care for our own. We go above and beyond to make sure your pets experience is a relaxing, fun and a joyful stay! We are onsite owners, certified in Pet First Aid & CPR which allows full time care and the ability to recognize a pet in distress. Our current services include Boarding, Daycare, and Grooming.
