Lanie graduated from Crowder College obtaining her Veterinary Technology & Animal Science degree! During her time completing the Veterinary Technology Program, Lanie became CPR and Fear Free certified!
Here’s her ‘why’ for choosing Veterinary medicine as a career: “I chose Veterinary medicine to become an advocate for animals when needed as they present their symptoms differently than humans."

Here’s her ‘why’ for choosing Veterinary medicine as a career: “Everyday is a new day, and you are given the choice to choose who you want to be and what you want to do. Everyday I choose Veterinary Medicine. Not because of my love for medicine, and not because of my love for animals, but because I have the opportunity to reunite pets to their loved ones in a better condition than when they arrived. I will forever cherish the moments of nursing them day after day, having the opportunity to help them heal, and watching their happiness and personality return. But by far, my favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is reuniting them with their owners. Nothing can replace the smile and tears of relief as owners embrace what they worried would be lost. Everyday I choose Veterinary Medicine for them. Is Vet Med rewarding? Not always. But is it worth it? Absolutely- and I would choose it again and again every lifetime."

Meet Kevin!
Kevin is a 7 year old, Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix.
According to Kevin's mom "he is the protector of all— while also being a 100lb lap dog." 😉❤️
He takes his job as "the protector" very seriously and enjoys barking at anything that dares to move! 😅
Kevin happily spends his time lounging in the yard, especially on a cool fall day! 🍂
