🐾 Meet Bella the Golden! 🐾

She’s here for a 4-week Lodge & Learn and is already fitting right in! Bella’s been making fast friends with Murphy and Baxter—two long-time members of The Curious K9 Crew.

Murphy (1.5 years old) has been training with us since he was just 8 months, and Baxter (8 years old) has been part of the family since his humans brought him home at just 8 weeks! 🐶💛

We love watching our crew grow together, support each other, and help welcome new pups like Bella into the pack.

Ready to build a solid training foundation with your dog? Our Beginner Obedience Class is perfect for dogs 6 months and older who are just getting started or need to reinforce the basics.

In this 6-week course, you’ll learn how to teach and strengthen essential commands like:
✔️ Come when called
✔️ Loose leash walking
✔️ Sit, down, stay, and place
✔️ Impulse control & manners in public
✔️ Reducing jumping and mouthiness
✔️ Navigating real-world greetings and social situations

Whether you’re starting from scratch or continuing after puppy class, we’ll help you develop a well-mannered, confident companion. You’ll leave class with practical tools and a better understanding of how to communicate with your dog—plus the support of professional trainers and other local dog owners.

Our next round of group classes kicks off soon, and we’ve got something for every dog and handler, whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your pup’s skills.

Beginner Course (6 Weeks)
Starts July 29th
Tuesdays at 6:00 PM
Final class on September 2nd
Great for puppies or newly adopted dogs who need structure and foundation work. If you’ve taken any prior obedience classes, this class will further build obedience and teach new skills.

The Downtown Dog
Fridays at 5:30 PM
Sundays at 12:00 PM
Locations vary weekly around Eugene & Springfield. This class is ideal for practicing focus, engagement, and obedience in real-world settings.

Group Obedience
Saturdays at 10:00 AM – Veneta
Sundays at 10:30 AM – Springfield

Group Protection
Saturdays at 11:00 AM – Veneta
For those already in protection training or wanting to start, this class builds control, targeting, and handler confidence.
