Give us a call if you need assistance catching/trapping, need to surrender, or come across an loose animal or would like to make a donation. We get them treated at the vet and on their way to better lives whether it be through our facility or the Brown County Humane Society. How you can help:
The shelter is always in need of towels, blankets, rags, and old sheets to keep our animals warm and comfo
rtable. Other items regularly used include:
Cleaning supplies- Bleach, baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, hand soap, rubber gloves (both reusable and disposable), Clorox wipes, disinfecting spray, pails, etc. Pet supplies- cat litter, cat toys, nail clippers, leashes, collars, harnesses, bowls, beds, blankets, treats (cat and dog), cat food (canned or hard) (kitten and adult), containers, kennels, crates, etc. Donations can be make trough City Hall, Springfield Police Department, or through an animal shelter/control employee. Any and all donations new or used, are greatly appreciated and will help us continue to enhance the quality of life for our animals and community, along with helping lost pets get home.
