At Rev22 Farm we have a (few) chickens, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Miniature Australian Shepherds, kittens and a bunny.

You never know who might come live with us next!

Aaaaand then we were goatless 😉 It looks like our season of having a goat herd is over. Frankie and Gertie went down to Holland in August to do a job and their new mom fell in love with them!! 🥰 New fencing is going up and they get to stay on that farm.

My 3 OG girls, Margo, Edith and Agnes, headed up to Shelby last weekend to be reunited with their first babies from 2023. They love being part of that herd and are fitting right in.

It’s bittersweet…but I can also visit any of them any time and I get lots of pics and updates! So happy with how it all turned out and grateful for my time with them all!! 🐐

These sweet little terrorists are 7 weeks old today!! Fully on wet food & kibble, litter trained and headed to new homes this weekend!! All spoken for 🥹 This has been an experience for sure!!

6 weeks old yesterday!!

We are working on weaning from the KMR this week and moving to wet food and kibble. 💚 & 💙 got it right away. 🩷 joined yesterday morning, 🧡 finally gave in this afternoon & 🩵 is still holding strong…he thinks I’m going to syringe feed him forever 🤦🏻‍♀️ Heading to new homes on Labor Day! It’s going fast now!!

Pivot, Fin (renamed Woody) & Endera (renamed Jesse) went to their new farm in Howard City today! I’m SO happy they all went together and know that Drew & Beau are going to love on them endlessly!! Thank you Johnson fam! The farm is a lot more quiet today!!

💜 RIP Winnie Girl 💜

This morning, 4 weeks post heat injury, we said goodbye to our sweet girl. I watched her be born and I was with her when she passed.

The vet was convinced that (whatever happened) brain cells were fried and she was not likely to get any better. A life in a kennel, being diapered and needing baths several times a day is not a good life…so we will lay her to rest tonight. Now she is healed 🌈

Her babies are doing great and will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. Her leaving us this last gift is such a blessing and I’m going to try to enjoy the feedings (even at 3am) for the next couple weeks and then am going to be VERY picky about where these babies go!! I’m admittedly attached 💚💙🧡🩵🩷

This week’s 💜 pic is of my beautiful niece, Maya, who will be caring for the kittens until Sunday so our family can attend Unity Festival!! This is such a special gift for me and I’m so appreciative!! 🥰🎶🎤🥁

A note on Momma, Winnie: she visited the vet yesterday (3 weeks post heat injury/emergency vet visit). He thinks that the heat fried some of her brain cells and is unsure if she will recover any further. Janie at F2F is going to give her another week before hard decisions need to be made…please pray for her (& us). A life spent in a kennel, being hand fed, the inability to use the litter box, needing daily baths because you lay in your own excrement, loss of (some) eye sight and just an overall lack of awareness of where you’re at is not a good way to live. We all know the most humane thing to do…but that doesn’t make it easier, so I’m praying for a miracle 🙏🏼💜🐈‍⬛
