From tiny land sharks to loyal gray-faced guardians… Cane Corsos grow fast, but somehow the years still fly by. 🖤🐾

One minute they’re tripping over their oversized paws, chewing everything in sight, and demanding all your attention… and the next they’re your shadow, your protector, your peace, and your best friend.

One of the hardest parts about loving giant breeds is knowing we never get enough time with them. That’s why every stage matters:
🐶 The wild puppy phase
💪 The confident young adult years
🛡️ Their powerful prime
🩶 And the slower senior years where they just want to be close to you

Love them hard through every season. The drool, the chaos, the zoomies, the stubbornness, the cuddles, all of it becomes the memories you wish you could relive one more time.

What am I doing? Oh, nothing major… just cleaning up the yard, putting up kennels, and washing dog bowls… well, most of them anyway 😂🐾

Behind every well-loved dog is a whole lot of daily work that people don’t always see. But honestly, I wouldn’t trade it. Building, cleaning, organizing, caring for the dogs — it’s all part of the process and part of what I love about this lifestyle.

Now excuse me while I go find the rest of these bowls lol.

There’s something special about a vet team that treats your puppies like their own 🖤

Athena & Zeke at just 5 days old getting all the love and attention from the staff at the vet’s office. Moments like this matter more than people realize. Early handling, care, social interaction, and a calm environment all play a role in helping puppies grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs.

Raising healthy Cane Corsos isn’t just about producing beautiful puppies — it’s about making sure they’re cared for, properly socialized, and genuinely loved from day one.

After posting my Cane Corso “tail, nose, face, and paws” post, I had so many fellow Corso owners share their hilarious drool stories with me 😂 Honestly, reading them made me realize this breed really does come with its own level of chaos and comedy.

So this post is dedicated to all my Corso owners with drool stories to tell 🐾💦

And before anyone asks… no, this is not my dog 😅 Because when the drool is hanging like this, every Corso owner knows a head shake is probably coming next. At that point, I’m not reaching for my camera — I’m protecting my face, walls, furniture, and anything else in the splash zone lol.
