RGK hosted our spring derby last weekend Deutsch-Kurzhaar Group North America! We got to run Loki and Bengel in Derby and Donja in her Zuchtschau! Happy to announce Loki received a prize 1 with a 4H in search, Bengel received a prize 1, and Donja received a V rating! Can’t wait to complete the solms and AZP this fall!

These little chunks are 4 weeks old today! They had their first dose of worming and first taste of puppy mush! Little boy “Blue”is going to Virginia and little girl “Indy” is headed to Illinois!

Well Maine grouse season 2024 is in the bag. Tough year this year tons of pressure. More people and dogs than I’ve ever seen here, but we managed a few birds and of course had an amazing time with the greatest of family and friends. And where else can you hunt grouse in the morning and eat lobster rolls for lunch!

I know to most this would just look like a pile of dirt and some random boards. But to us it’s the culmination of 3+ years of blood sweat and tears numerous hurdles and my personal dream and legacy. Much like other famous family residences, I hope this new addition to the RGK compound will bring joy and comfort for decades to family, friends, hunters and dog people.
