I love messages like these.

When your feeling like your at a stand still and you need to be inspired by something, a client, sends you a message like this. They let you know , you are still doing great work and making horses feel better.

Any practitioner, who has been doing this for a while, goes through phases of wondering if you're still on the right path. Really any equine job is not for the faint of heart. You have to be willing to push ,educate ,advertise, as much as you're capable of. What you put into is what you get out.

So I am always greatful to the clients / students who send me messages like this. Who remind me me of why I do my job and who never give up on me. I have changed a lot and I mean a lot of horses ,clients and students lives with what I do and I hope I can continue to do so in the future.

Thank you

I need some class ideas 👀🐴
What is a class that you have not seen out there yet that you would LOVE to take in the equine field?

If it’s something I have knowledge about, I can make the class happen 🙌

So throw me some ideas below ⬇️ and who knows… I might already have it in the works 😉

I’m always looking to create classes that actually help people understand the horse better, not just follow trends. So let’s hear it! 🐎✨

Went from working on 17 hand horses to 2 cute ponies today.

One I was putting to sleep standing up and the other I was putting to sleep on the ground lol

In the first picture I am sitting on a garden stool. My leg is hiding it. I cannot hold a squat for that long 😂.

This is Happy

For the ones that dont know him… you will find out he’s not the “stand still and relax” type—especially around new people. Very anxious, very aware, always thinking about his next move.
His owner has been doing all the right things—working on softening his nose, riding him through it, just trying to help him settle and feel safe in his own body. But lately he started getting a little reactive during tacking up, so she reached out.

So I came out today.
First thing she says to me—
“He might dance around in the cross ties… just be ready.”
Fair enough… I like a heads up 😅
But here’s the thing… we didn’t even need to go there.

Once we got him out and I started working on his body, everything started to make sense. He had soreness through his back, into his hips, and right along that girth area—which she also mentioned he’s been a little cinchy. So nothing he was doing was “bad behavior”… it all lined up.

We worked through those areas, let his body start to release, and then…
You’ll see it in the video.
Standing. Still, Head low, Eyes soft

Honestly… he was about asleep until I hit record 🤣

Same horse. Different feeling in his body.
This is why I always say—before we label it as a training issue, we need to look at what the horse is physically dealing with. His owner did just that.
They can only tolerate so much before they start talking back.

Happy is a very sweet horse… he just needed someone to listen to what his body was saying.
And today, he finally got to relax.
