Meet Devorah … A Royal Lady Searching for Her New Kingdom 🐺🖤

Devorah is a beautiful 3-year-old Lykoi currently located in Alabama who was previously placed in a home, but unfortunately her family is no longer able to keep her. So this little werewolf lady is searching for a new place to call home.

Devorah does have one royal request: a smaller court, please. 😂 She would do best in a home with no other cats or possibly just one feline companion. A busy multi-cat kingdom simply isn’t where she thrives.

She’s looking for someone who will love her quirky Lykoi personality and give her the quieter kingdom where she can settle in, get comfortable, and properly take over the castle.

Everyone is recovering beautifully from their spay/neuter and already acting like absolutely nothing happened. Apparently “rest and recover” is merely a suggestion in this kingdom. 👑🐾

👑 Sorry it’s been a little quiet over here in the Royal Velvet kingdom!

We have been BUSY. Like… barely keeping track of what day it is busy. 😂 Between hand-feeding Rayne’s SIX babies (who are FINALLY weaned 🙌) and birthing all of our Christmas litters, the castle has been running on caffeine, kitten formula and very little sleep.

But we’re finally coming up for air!

I’ll be sending out an email soon to everyone on our email list with a big cattery update … what’s been going on, what we have coming up, what to expect over the next few months and, of course, all the Christmas baby news. 🎄

Also… a few of you have told me you miss our old Royal Velvet “royal tone” posts. 👑😂 We used to have a lot more fun with the whole kingdom, queens, kings and little heirs around here.

So what do we think… should we bring the royal tone back?! 👑

Because if so, Queen Hazel would like to formally submit herself as our first order of business.

They are basically toddlers.

Poor Hazel looks like she should be asking them when they plan to get jobs and move out of the castle. 🤣

We are helping a fellow royal find the right home for one of our Lykoi girls who has some special behavioral needs.

We are looking for a patient, understanding home where she can thrive. We believe she would do best as an only cat, although we may consider a home with no more than one other cat depending on the situation.

Experience with Lykoi and/or cats with behavioral needs is a big plus. This is not a first-come, first-served placement, we want to make sure her next home is truly the right fit for her individual needs.

She is a sweet girl who deserves someone willing to understand her quirks and give her the environment she needs to be successful. 🖤
