Treatment for Chagas disease can be confusing, given the track record for currently available drugs. In this video we dispel the myths, talk science, and provide a clear path forward for your pets with Chagas.
Chagas IS TREATABLE. Without medicine, 25%-42% of dogs die, and the vast majority of those die suddenly. Chagas is a PROGRESSIVE disease, with no true "asymptomatic" patients; they all have myocarditis to some degree and this leads to fatal arrhythmias. Oh, by the way, infected dogs are the biggest risk factor for us human owners contracting this disease!
Don't mess around with this parasite, get your pets tested and discuss treatment with your veterinarian.
