Legacy K9 Day Training Program

Two Days of Day Training Each Week: $250/week (Wednesday & Thursday)

Here’s what’s included each week to ensure a high-quality training experience for you and your dog:
•Structured Training & Enrichment: Your dog will receive hands-on training throughout the day, focusing on basic obedience (Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, Loose Leash Walking) and essential behavioral skills, like calmness and focus.
• Behavior Management: We address real-life challenges like counter-surfing, jumping, and over-excitement, helping your dog become well-mannered in any setting.
• End-of-Day Review: Each training day ends with a 15-20minute session to review the day’s progress. We’ll go over the commands and techniques you need to practice at home to reinforce your dog’s learning.
• Training Tools Provided: We’ll supply all necessary training tools and treats for each day. However, for consistent reinforcement at home, you may need to purchase a few key tools recommended for your dog to continue building their skills.

Hi everyone! We’re currently updating all of our client records and need your help. If you haven’t already, please provide a copy of your dog’s most recent vet records, including:
• Vaccination history (especially rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella)
• Any recent medical notes or diagnoses
• Current medications, if applicable

You can email them to us or bring a paper copy to your next appointment.

‼️ FLEA POLICY ‼️

PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOG(S) FOR FLEAS BEFORE ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Fleas pose a serious risk in any grooming environment where multiple dogs are present. They are difficult to eliminate once introduced and can cause discomfort, illness, and infestations.

✂️ POLICY TERMS:
• It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog is completely flea-free before the grooming appointment.
• If live fleas or flea dirt are found or suspected during the grooming process, the groom will end immediately, and the dog must be picked up right away.
• The full grooming fee will still be charged, even if the groom is not completed.
• A non-negotiable $125 Flea Fee will be charged to cover:
• Emergency cleaning and sanitation of the salon
• Destruction of contaminated materials (e.g., towels, bedding)
• Specialized pest-control products
• Loss of income due to cancellation of the next client so proper deep cleaning can be done
• This not only causes a financial impact but also affects clients scheduled after you.

🐾 RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP:

All clients are expected to keep their pets on a regular flea and tick prevention program. If you need help choosing a product or learning how to check for fleas, I’m happy to assist.

📌 IMPORTANT:

This policy is posted at the salon front desk. Booking an appointment or entering the salon constitutes agreement to these terms. Failure to read the policy is not an excuse for non-compliance. These measures exist to protect all dogs in my care and maintain a safe, clean grooming environment.

If a spot becomes available, it will be posted here on our facebook and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend checking back periodically if you’re interested in booking in the future.

🚨 Health & Safety Reminder for All Clients 🚨

We love keeping your pups looking and feeling their best, but their health—and the health of other dogs in our care—comes first!

🐾 If your dog has had diarrhea or vomiting within the last 48 hours, please reschedule their appointment.

Even if they seem fine otherwise, stomach issues can be a sign of illness, and we want to prevent the spread of anything contagious. If your dog arrives showing signs of sickness, we will have to reschedule their appointment.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our grooming space a clean and safe environment for all pets! 💕🐶
