Reactivity is very fixable!

You don’t need a reactive dog support group. You don’t need years of training, calming supplements, or meds.

You just need to let your dog be a normal dog. Yes, it’s possible, I promise.

Reactivity isn’t a life sentence.

It’s not a wild free-for-all just because the leash comes off. A solid recall is a must, but it doesn’t stop there. I have other rules for dogs being off leash.

No luring into a down with food, no constant reminders to stay as I back away slowly with my hand out… I can just tell them ‘down’ and walk away. That’s good training.

Ernie is a good boy who deals with frustration by biting. He will soon learn that’s not allowed, and that will open up his whole world and give him so much freedom.

The more they take her out, the more normal she becomes. Nala is so lucky she ended up with these owners who will help her be a normal dog. I can’t wait to get her off leash and hiking with new friends!

Nala was adopted from the shelter a few weeks ago and quickly showed aggression over a toy.

Many people would’ve given up and returned her right then, but her owners are sticking with her and doing some training to give her the best life.

Luckily her guarding is mild, and she’s never bitten - just some big girl barks, growls, and snaps.

She’s such a fun dog.

Birdie’s 4th session. Her leash reactivity is gone, and today she met Oak. She’s building confidence around other dogs, and the only way to do that is let her meet dogs. Birdie is doing great!
