We are not affiliated with the National Humane Society – we are independent. We offer low cost vaccinations, spay/neuter services and adoptions. Spokane Humane Society has been serving the Inland Northwest for over 125 years. Spokane Humane Society focuses on the adoption of companion animals, spay/neuters and vaccinations through our veterinary clinic for shelter animals, no-income clinic services for animals, and our foster care program.

Brandi didn’t find her Christmas morning miracle… but she’s not giving up. This sweet, goofy girl is still holding out hope that she’ll ring in the New Year with a family of her very own.

At just two years old, Brandi has so much love (and silliness!) to give. She’s outgoing, house trained, and does great with cats. She loves to explore the outdoors—sniffing every scent like it’s her full-time job! She’s an energetic pup, so a home without young children (under 13) would be the best fit for her zoomies and enthusiasm.

Meena wanted to wish you all a Meowy Christmas Eve! This sweet, cuddly 1-year-old is hanging out at our PetSmart Charities Northpointe PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center and she can't wait to meet you. 🧡

Tomorrow, our Main Campus (shelter, clinic, and admin offices) and our Northpointe PetSmart Adoption Center will be closed tomorrow for Christmas. Regular hours will resume the 26th. We are wishing everyone a restful and relaxing holiday season! 🐾🎁

I’ve a tiny Christmas wish– and it needs to come true before 4:00pm today. That’s when my SHS friends pack up my PetSmart buddies and me to head back to the main campus.

If you’ve been dreaming of a Christmas-morning cuddle in a warm bed with a furry best friend… I’m ready. Hurry in and make our holiday magic happen.

Cookie enjoying a beautiful sunset! 🌅

This sweet, curious three-year-old is searching for her second chance this holiday season. Cookie loves to spend her days exploring outdoors and would make a fantastic adventure pup. She came to us from one of our partner rescues, so we don't know much about her history with other dogs, cats, or children. She's been a wonderful pup in our care and we can't wait for her to find a furever home!

Duke's searching for his second chance! 🤩

This blue-eyed cutie loves to spend his day running and goofing around with his favorite people. He's always down to chase a ball, go on a walk, or curl up on the couch for some cuddles. Duke arrived from a partner rescue, so we don't know his history with other dogs, cats, or kids. 🐾
