Save the dogs (It just takes one person) Helping cross post dogs on death row AND in shelters needing rescue/adoption. My staff and I are are spread across the US, we are all volunteers.

We cross post for dogs on death row in hopes of them being saved by one of YOU and or a rescue. We also share petitions on animal welfare, and news stories about animal hero's and animal abuse that we come across. "Every great dream begins with a dreamer. A few things about McDuff...

* 1 year old Terrier
* weighs 57 pounds
* heartworm negative
* not neutered yet; he will be upon adoption if not before
* brought in as a stray - found on Tryon Drive
* housebroken
* friendly, social, and happy
* greets at his kennel door with tail wags - he's ready to be friends
* easy to leash with good leash manners - he stays close by your side and follows your lead
* quiet and calm in and outside of his kennel
* curious explorer - he enjoyed walking around the yard sniffing, and taking in all the new sights, sounds, and scents
* loving and affectionate
* gentle treat taker
* smart- knows the sit and stay commands

McDuff is a happy, handsome, and friendly boy. He will quickly steal your heart with his charming personality and big beautiful smiles! He would love nothing more than to have a family of his own to spend his time with. He has hopes for a big back yard to explore and a comfy bed to snuggle on at night! Can you give McDuff a home? Our shelter is full and he needs you!

We are just ONE WEEK AWAY from our BIGGEST adoption event of the year! On Saturday, August 9th between 10am and 7pm, ALL adoption fees are WAIVED while we work to EMPTY THE SHELTER! We need our community's help to find as many loving homes for shelter pets as possible. Please join us for extended adoption hours and free pet adoptions during Summer Lovin' Adopt-a-Thon 2025! 🐶❤🐱

Zeus cannot catch a break, owner surrendered the first time he was in the shelter, then got adopted and came back in as a stray. He is an older guy who could now take his last breath today. Can anyone consider fostering or adopting Zeus before it is too late? This poor guy does not need to be failed by humans again.

Last call: Zeus was recently adopted and came back as a stray. Prior to adoption, Zeus had exhibited escalating reactivity in the shelter, including retreating to the back of his kennel, barking and growling with raised hackles, and avoiding the leash and handler. He also displayed signs of barrier reactivity. These behaviors strongly suggest Zeus is unable to cope in the shelter environment and requires immediate placement with a behaviorally experienced foster or rescue who can support his needs in a calm, structured setting. (There are some notes from new owner we are trying to clarify and will add)
