A very good friend of ours has passed. We will miss her smiling face and happy attitude. We will remember her every time we see her beloved dog Hugo!

Christine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Christine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dale Kitts and Olga Kitts (Uranich); her husband Bruce; her pet Hugo; her siblings, Lynnette Nevitt (Doug), Lori Schaidle (Dave) and Dave Kitts (Jill); her son Kyle Duryea (Katlyn); and her granddaughters, Adeline and Nora. She was also cherished by many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Denver Cemetery (226 Tax School Rd, Washburn, IL 61570).

In lieu of flowers, the family has established donation opportunities for contributions in Christine's name with Pets Stop Here Rescue (non-profit dog and cat rescue organization) via website http://www.petsstophererescue.com or by mail at 5412 West Ridge Road, Spencerport, NY 14559, and the Rochester Regional Hospital Lipson Cancer Institute Fund via website at https://www.rochesterregional.org.
