Meet the cutest little low rider; Ducky!! 🐥

This bully mix is just a bundle of adorableness fit inside a short & stout muscly body! Ducky is only around 9 months old and 40 pounds! He is neutered and up to date on vaccines! Both house and crate trained! He’s ready to go to his forever home!

Ducky currently is having a blast in his foster home playing with his foster pup brother! From playing in the pool to toys galore, Ducky’s an energetic guy! He would enjoy a pup playmate that he can romp around with! Ducky would need a proper and slow introduction to live with cats. Ducky’s the kind of dog that loves endlessly. He’s very loyal to the people he trusts. Once he gets to know you, you’re best friends!

❗️We’re running low on Tide-Pods and pumpkin! ❗️

With pool season and lots of rescue pups who love to play at our facility (like Miss Keiko here), we do multiple loads of laundry every day! Towels, blankets, toys, you name it! Our shelves are getting bare… we accept any brands of laundry pods and 100% canned pumpkin! 🧡

Meet the newest intake into our rescue… Apollo!

There was a plea sent out to get Apollo out of the shelter by the end of the day yesterday, or else he was at risk of euthanasia. We couldn’t let that handsome face down. So welcome Apollo to PSH Rescue!

We haven’t known him long, but he has been so incredibly sweet and loves people. He is estimated to be around 5 years old, but still has lots of energy! We will be working on some manners as he just gets so excited to see new people! He is very food motivated which is a plus! He is already mastering sitting and waiting for treats!

As we get to know more about Apollo, keep an eye out for updates! He will need to be neutered and gain a little bit of weight. Donations are always appreciated! We are so happy to be able to help this pouty-faced sweetheart!

Yesterday was our co****le tournament to raise funds for Sugar’s surgery! Thank you to our players, helpers, and donators! It was a fun time albeit being a million degrees outside. This is the difference a little bit of care, time, and love can make on a rescue dog. ❤️

Billy came from the Rochester City Shelter after being found as a stray and was obviously not taken care of the majority of her young life. Since then Miss Billy Goat has been living in her foster home and absolutely thriving! Look at the before and after! She’s such a gorgeous girl! 😍 Her fosters have been taking such amazing care of her. She’s playful, spunky, and sweet! Loves hanging out with her dog and cat siblings!

Billy Goat will be getting her cherry eye surgery soon. Donations to help towards her surgery are very much appreciated and can be made via Venmo! In the meantime, if you’d like to set up a meet and greet with Billy for potential future adoption please contact us!

We want to give a little update on the handsome man Paddy (and share this absolutely adorable picture!!) 🍀

Paddy had tested positive for Heartworm when we pulled him from the local city shelter earlier this year. He has now gotten all three of his treatment injections and we are in the waiting period until he can retest again to see if he is Heartworm free! Paddy has been enjoying lounging with his foster fam and keeping it lowkey until his Heartworm test!

Paddy will officially be available for adoption once he’s Heartworm negative! We think anyone will be super lucky to adopt this gorgeous boy! Stay tuned for updates!

❤️Update: Tonka is safe with a rescue!!

❗️We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt for this handsome hunk!! ❗️

Meet Tonka. This boy is currently at the Verona Street shelter and needs someone to pull him before time runs out. 💔 He’s 6 years old, about 75 pounds and neutered. Everyone who has met him says he’s an absolute sweetheart and loves people. He’s been out in the play yard with other dogs and done great. We do not know his history with cats.

Tonka has chronic dry eye and will need daily eye drops for comfort. He does really well receiving the eye drops and is such a good boy!

Titan enjoying the nice weather today☀️🧡

We are looking for a foster or adopter for this handsome guy. He’s a charming, gentle, and sweet boy wrapped up in an 85 pound body. He always has such a happy demeanor and consistently wants to be by your side for pets. He is neutered and has UTD vaccines, he’s ready to go to his forever home! He is seemingly house trained and walks great on leash. He’s made many dog friends in boarding and we think he would enjoy another medium-large sized dog to play with. Titan is an absolute snuggle bug who deserves nothing but the best. Meet him once and you’ll fall in love.
