After some soul-searching of how much I love my job, but also how my current pricing is not accurately reflecting the quality, time, loving care as well as the current market pricing, I need to adjust my grooming prices significantly.
I plan to do this on September 1st to not only contend with rising costs, but also to be able to maintain my livelihood.
While I value each and every one of my clients immensely, from a business stand-point, I cannot continue to turn away potential new clients almost daily to maintain the long-standing relationships, but at a significant cost to myself.
Raising prices is always difficult, but unfortunately, necessary to continue providing the quality of service to all of my valued clients, many of whom have become like family over these past 28 years of full-time grooming.
I will do my best to reach out individually ahead of already booked appointments from Sept. 1st on, but wanted to give a heads up. I will also be adding Venmo as a payment option, as I know many of you have inquired about a more convenient form of payment.
