After 17 wonderful, fun-filled years of hosting summer horse camps, it is time for Jenna and I to announce Lonely Oak Farm & Charming Acres retirement from hosting camps.
When we started this journey nearly two decades ago, we never imagined the incredible impact it would have on our lives and the lives of so many wonderful children. We have had the absolute privilege of watching hundreds of youngsters fall in love with our horses, overcome their fears, and grow into lifelong animal lovers.
To all the campers: Thank you for the laughter, the "can I stay forever?" questions, and the joy you brought to our farms.
To the parents: Thank you for trusting us with your children and for supporting our equine (and Jenna’s cute critters) passion.
While we will miss hanging with so many AMAZING camp counselors …you have all become family to Jenna and I…just know you are always welcome to come by to love on the horses and other farm animals! You have fallen in love with our wonderful horses and I hope they will always hold a special place in your hearts.
To all our horses, past and present…We truly LOVE you!! Each one of you have given us so much … you are the best horses in the whole wide world! 17 years of patience, gentleness and silly antics…you have made Lonely Oak & Charming Acres a great place for summer fun, childhood memories and true equine therapy!
