Here at NRGV, we LOVE sharing our breed with others. We had a horse club from Surry County come visit today. They all seemed amazed with how docile and friendly the breed is. Even the youngsters. Yes, it's all about the hair, those apple butts, the bone...but my favorite thing is the kind, puppydog disposition. They love being with people! Especially kids.

So I think everyone knows the story on Rommy. We raised him from a yearling and he is now 3. He did not drop one testicle so we gelded him. He is now ready to be broke to ride and make someone a wonderful riding or driving partner. He is currently the ONLY SMOKEY PEARL ROAN male in the breed. Before I spend time and money on his training, I am offering him at less than half of what we paid for him to cut my losses and move forward. I have zero use for a gelding on a breeding farm.
