Whiskers Pet Rescue Whiskers is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to caring for homeless cats & kittens in our community. HOURS: Whiskers is open to the public Wednesday - Sunday 1-4pm.

Whiskers Pet Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue organization in Southbury, Connecticut. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them

in loving forever homes. CLOSED Monday & Tuesday. *Please note that you cannot play with, put on hold or adopt a cat or kitten unless you have a pre-approved application on file! Also, adopters with appointments always have priority, so please make an appointment. It is always better to get pre-approved. Apply online at WhiskersPetRescue.org

4 adoptions today! Lucky kitties Mateo, Barney, and Domino (no photo) went to wonderful new homes. And guess what?? Our Kate was also adopted by a great couple - we think the 3rd time truly is the charm with these wonderful, patient cat-whisperers! They saw our sad post and knew they were the ones to give her a perfect home. ❤️ We are very grateful and so happy for Kate.

One of our amazing volunteer socializers "cuddlers" at Whiskers Too sent photos of the happy life Marbles (now Miso) is living. Sam says Miso is a joy to have. He loves watching the cat tv (bird feeder) and doesnt miss an opportunity to try and steal Sam’s dinner. We are so happy for both of them!

What a lovely update on Grey and Pappason! From their adopter: “I wanted to let you know that a year later, Grey and Pappason (now Rocky) are fat and happy in their forever home! Grey is so laid back and loving. Rocky took a while to settle in, but has really come out of his shell. My mom feels incredibly lucky to be their “cat mom” and constantly brags about what good cats they are! My father had a bad stroke in January and these two have been such a source of comfort to her during a really difficult time.” We are so sorry to hear about your father but glad to know your mom is experiencing the joy and comfort of her feline family❤️
