Mom Reagan & Her Five Precious Puppies💕

Yesterday, we tagged this sweet family from the euthanasia list at BARC ❤️

Meet Mom Reagan and her five beautiful babies: Rachel, Rory, Rowan, Reid, & Rowena

Reagan was found trying to protect her newborn puppies in the corner of a backyard, hidden beneath small bushes. The fence was damaged, leaving the family exposed and vulnerable. Despite everything she had been through, Reagan never gave up on her babies.

At intake, shelter staff noted:
★ Nursing mom with five approximately one week old puppies.
★ Hair loss on her back end caused by flea allergy dermatitis.
★ Skin scrape was negative, and she has already received treatment. No additional treatment is needed at this time.
★ Puppies are underage and will remain with mom while they continue to grow and thrive.

Today, this little family is safe because of an incredible team effort. Thank you to the volunteers who helped make their rescue possible and to their amazing foster mom for opening her heart and home during this critical time.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who honored their pledges. Your generosity made this rescue possible and allows us to continue saving families like Reagan’s.

✨ Cody’s Adoption Update ✨

Just under two weeks ago, Cody began the journey to his forever home in the Pacific Northwest, and we couldn’t be happier to share that he is thriving in Washington! ❤️

His new mom and dad absolutely adore him, and he has even joined a family with four kitty siblings. It has been wonderful watching him settle into the loving home he has always deserved.

Thank you to Cody’s amazing family for opening your hearts and choosing adoption. Wishing you all a lifetime of happiness, adventures, and unconditional love together. 🐾🏡

FOSTER NEEDED ❤️‍🩹

This handsome Dalmatian was recently found as a stray and is currently safe, but he needs a committed foster as soon as possible.

Casper and Furry Friends Animal Rescue is looking for a dedicated foster willing to provide a safe and loving temporary home while we work on getting him fully evaluated and ready for adoption.

Fostering saves lives. Our rescue provides support, guidance, and veterinary care. We simply need someone willing to open their home and heart to this deserving pup.

Today is National Rescue Dog Day 🐶🥲

Every rescue dog has a story. Some were abandoned, neglected, dumped, or forgotten. Yet somehow, they still choose love, trust, and hope.

Today we want to raise awareness for rescue dogs everywhere and remind people that rescue truly takes a community. It takes fosters, adopters, transporters, donors, volunteers, networkers, and compassionate people willing to step up for animals in need.

Tulip’s story is just beginning 🌷

Three weeks ago, Tulip was tagged from the shelter scared, unsure, and needing a chance. Since then, she has slowly learned what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for in a foster home environment.

Now known as Lola, she is thriving and continuing to open up more every single day with her foster to adopt pawrents and her new sibling Ella, a beautiful 4 year old Dalmatian 🐶💕🐶

Watching her personality blossom has been so rewarding. From survival mode to cozy naps, love, treats, and companionship, this sweet girl is finally getting the life she deserves.

We are so excited to continue watching Lola bloom into the happy pup she was always meant to be 🩷🙂

KODA IS ADOPTED 🎉

This sweet boy finally got his happy ending and we couldn’t be more grateful. Koda now has a forever home where he’ll be safe and loved.

Thank you to everyone who supported, shared, and believed in him. Thank you to his foster momma! It takes a village and Koda is living proof. 💛

Tulip deserved better, and now she finally has a chance. ❤️

Six weeks ago, we came across a post for a “3 year old Dalmatian” being rehomed for $100. We reached out immediately, secured a foster, and tried to coordinate pickup… but by the time we did, she had already been given away.

Fast forward to 4/26, a dog labeled as a stray shows up at the shelter.

That dog was Tulip. The same dog.

Tulip has been living outdoors. She is underweight at just 36 lbs, has untreated skin allergies, is not spayed and currently in heat, and has tested heartworm high positive.

This is the reality behind so many “rehoming” posts.

Tulip is now with Casper and Furry Friends Animal Rescue and getting the care she desperately needs. She is decompressing, learning that she is safe, and starting her journey to healing.

Tulip is not available for adoption at this time. She has a long road ahead medically and emotionally, and we will make sure she is fully ready before placing her in a home that truly understands her needs.
