π Every rescue we save comes with a promise that they will receive the medical care they need, whether itβs planned or completely unexpected. The past two weeks have been incredibly busy, and our veterinary expenses continue to grow.
Hereβs what your support has made possible:
π€ Princess started her 30 day doxycycline treatment as part of her heartworm treatment.
π€ Elsie was spayed, began her 30 day heartworm treatment, and now needs a follow up appointment to have her spay incision checked. She may need additional surgical glue and antibiotics.
π€ Henry was neutered.
π€ Auston was neutered and required an unexpected follow up visit after reacting to one of his medications. Thankfully, he is feeling much better.
π€ Winnie received her melarsomine injections to treat heartworm disease.
Coming up this week:
πΎ Trooper will be neutered.
πΎ Dolly will be spayed.
πΎ Hailey, another BARC euthanasia list survivor, is scheduled for her spay surgery.
πΎ Hunk is showing signs of an old injury. He isnβt consistently bearing weight on his right leg and occasionally limps while walking or running. He will be evaluated by our veterinarian.
πΎ Rachel, one of Reaganβs puppies, will be seen tomorrow morning for a possible urinary tract infection.
Every surgery, exam, medication, and follow up visit adds up, but saying yes to these dogs means saying yes to the care they deserve.
If youβd like to help us continue providing lifesaving veterinary care, please consider making a donation. No amount is too small, and every dollar goes directly toward helping dogs like Princess, Winnie, Trooper, Dolly, Hailey, Hunk, Rachel, and so many others receive the treatment they need.
Thank you for standing with Casper and Furry Friends Animal Rescue and helping us give these dogs the second chance they deserve.
