A rescue story from one of our very own Pet Sitters!!!

Hi Homer! My new mommy found me today 6/2/2014! She was driving down a VERY busy street in Houston, and as always, was scanning the grass on either side of her for just such a situation to occur! She saw me all alone on the median, making my way to a tree. She stopped her car and ran back to me, but I was too busy crying to notice her until she scooped me up! She carried me back to her car and gave me lots of water from a water bottle cap! She brought me home and has me quarantined and medicated for the next few weeks so that I can meet my 4 new brothers (all rescued!!) and explore the rest of my new home! (My new mommy has also saved 4 whole turtles from the busy streets of Houston just in the past 2 days!!)

Something to make you smile today! Monday is almost over!!

This is simply heartwarming and amazing! I never imagined that a horse can play just like a child! I guess when someone hands you a pool, you play in it! I absolutely LOVE this, you can tell the horse is loved by her humans! All animals deserve to be this happy. Please SHARE with others!!
