Doing some work with Millie on recall and other behaviors, using mostly negative reinforcement and positive punishment. The most important piece of this is her attitude after receiving the stim from the ecollar, she understands the contingency and she had the change to make a choice.

Some must say the timing was bad and etc but I don’t care, I know she understands the situation and I can clean it up later. She is 10months and a very sensitive dog.

She has not been “ conditioned “ to the ecollar and has never received the stim before the command I only tap the collar if there is no compliance. Questions ? Leave it bellow.

So happy for these great people and Mr P. They are putting in the work and it shows. This is a former Puerto Rican street dog that was very sensitive to the world and very reactive at times, after 6 weeks of work that’s what we get :) .

Exposure work for Millie. Not ideal “ obedience training “ scenario due to their emotional state however I’m still having her around everything and showing her that nothing is really after her or threatening her existence. She has a long way to go but we have to start somewhere.
