Taking a moment to celebrate our newest Client Service rep/Veterinary Assistant, Stephanie!
Stephanie started with us this past November and has been an amazing addition to our team. She is in her senior year as a student of Animal Science/pre-vet at UWRF, and is deeply committed to learning as much about Veterinary medicine as she can, both here at the Clinic and in her spare time.
We look forward to seeing her succeed, and we are grateful for her hard work !

Gretchen does so much for our clinic! She bounces between answering phones and approving medications through our online pharmacy, to everything else in between! 💊

Did you know she also offers in home boarding and also offers professional dog training services as well!? She's a busy lady and we are so thankful to have her as such a crucial part of our team! 🐾

💉 Essential Wellness Panels!💉

You may remember hearing your Technician or Veterinarian offer routine lab screening at your pet's Annual Visit. Why do we offer this for healthy pets? Running blood work when your pet is presenting normally helps us to:
- establish what their healthy baseline values are, so if there changes later on, we have values to compare them with
-detect new signs of exposure to tick borne illness or heartworm disease
-catch abnormalities before your pet becomes symptomatic for an illness
-confirm that your pet is healthy for an upcoming anesthetic procedure

Routine screening is valuable, and important! We now offer our Essential BUNDLES , so that you can do routine screening more AFFORDABLY.
Our canine and feline Essential Panels include the following:

🩸 Chemistry Profile: an assessment of liver, kidney, pancreatic and glucose values, and measure of hydration

🩸 CBC: a complete blood count, helps to identify signs of infection, anemia, and inflammation

🩸 Canine 4DX Screening (an annual recommendation!) : Detects exposure to tick borne diseases including Lyme, Anaplasma, Ehrlichia , and Heartworm disease (mosquito borne)

For kitties the equivalent test would be for Feline leukemia, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and Heartworm disease

💩 F***l testing: screens for common intestinal parasites, which can be transmissible to people!

We also offer a comprehensive Wellness panel for our senior pets, which include a urinalysis and thyroid screening, in addition to the panels above.

(see image below) This allows you browse our schedule in real time and book at your convenience with the Veterinarian of your choice! You can also set up Tech services like nail trims and lab work. So easy!! 🐈

Another tech tool that makes life easier is PetDesk! If you don't have the app yet you can click on the QR code on the image below--this app allows you to track your pet(s) reminders, request prescription refills, view lab results, and even text us here at the clinic! 🐶

Meet the adorable, fluffy, wiggly BUTTERS!!

Little Butters did great during his first puppy visit with us, and we are excited to watch him grow up! He is a Teddy Bear mix (usually a ShihTzu x Bichon x +/- Pomeranian) and is just as cute as can possibly be! He loves meeting new people and playing with his toys.
