We are utterly crushed 💔
Today, Kross failed his hip testing. He was everything we needed in our program - the temperament, the presence, the calm and steady nature that can’t be taught. An amazing structure and the dreamiest coat.
We are absolutely devastated. Not because he’s any less incredible, but because we know exactly what could have been. He was intentionally purchased for our future. But in this business, absolutely everything is a risk. Nothing is guaranteed.
There are moments in responsible breeding that are heartbreaking, and this is one of them. No matter how much you love a dog, how much potential they have, or how perfect they seem in every other way, health must always come first. Our standards are incredibly high and that includes what their hips look like on Xray and doing what we can to prevent the continuation of bad hips in the puppies we produce.
Kross will live a fantastic pet life and he is searching for his forever home that will cherish and spoil him just as much as we have. His placement must be perfect. There will be a rehoming fee. He is a fully trained, well behaved, very low energy dog. The absolute best companion.
You can apply through our puppy application.
Thank you for being here with us through our ups and downs 🤎
**EDIT: he has found his perfect family! Thank you all for your interest in him!
