LR Ranch AQHA breeder, raising horses with size, bone and most of all good minds. LR performance horses is a working ranch that backgrounds and grazes yearlings.

We do all of our cattle work horse back, therefore we need good solid horses that can do a days work. We breed and ride primarily Blue Valentine bloodlines, We have found that they have the dispostion, ability and the willingness to get the job done better than any other breed. Stanley is a 5 year old black grade quarter horse gelding. He stands a little over 15hh and is smooth as silk.
He as nice of a young gelding as you will find anywhere. He operates on a loose rein, very smooth in his gaits, no funny stuff with this horse.

Stanley is a kid carrying, husband packing kind of horse, but he can still go do the hard things if you ask him. He gives to leg pressure, collects up, open/close gates etc… He has been around cattle but not real deep in roping and sorting, but he has logged many miles on the trail.

Tiger was bred, raised and trained by us, and has not disappointed. From day one he has saddled up and walked off, like one should. He operates off of a loose rein, has a good handle, gives to leg pressure, collects up and is a big stopper.
Tiger has a great foundation, he could go in almost any direction. He loves to drop his head and walk, so he would make a great trail horse. Or anything in the arena, whatever you want to do with him he is willing and able.
He has been used on the ranch to rope and drag , sort and he will watch a cow and stop and turn with one.
He will do all the above in a soft snaffle or he will pack a bridal.
Tiger is that horse you will want to keep forever. He wants to be your friend, he will meet you at the gate and carry around anyone in the family.

He is guaranteed sound and safe.

Both are sound and ready to go. If you’re looking for a good prospect take a look. Bay should mature around 15.1 or 2 and Blue around 15 HH

Meet Shorty, she is a super nice little mare with a lot of heart. She has day worked, rode the trails and parades and has done the rodeo events.
She will track and rate a cow in the pasture or the arena. She has competed in breakaway roping, as well as ran the barrels.
She is the same every time you get on her, no issues. Shorty has been owned by the same family the whole time and has been well cared for.
Shorty would be perfect for the rodeo circuit or the family looking for a great addition for the trails.

Some of the current riding horses we have for sale. They are all proven and all AQHA registered and we stand behind our horses. We know them we raised and trained them. If you want a forever partner from a legitimate program let us know.
We offer them as young as weanlings all the way up to saddle horses. Prices start around 3000 for the babies and the riding horses are typically 8 to 20k.
