Welcome K9 Atlas to the K9 Compass Campus!

Hello handsome! 😍 Atlas is a 1 year, 6 month old American Bully who’s got both the looks and the smarts!

Atlas has been enjoying jumping on people, pulling on the leash, and reacting to dogs & people on walks. Although he has been enjoying these things… his family has not. 😉

I’m so excited for the opportunity to work with him and his family!

After establishing K9 Beanie’s obedience foundation during training days 1 and 2, we ventured into the real world for training and proofing. Here’s a glimpse into days 3, 4, and 5. Initially, she was very overwhelmed and nervous, but she has made remarkable progress. On day 5, Blucie (K9s Blue & Lucie) joined her to assist her in learning to relax.

I look forward to seeing her in a few weeks for her graduation day. I am proud of this girl! 🥹🤩

Welcome K9 Demi to the K9 Compass Campus!

Oh boy, she’s a stunner!!! 😍 Demi is a nearly 5 month old Great Dane. She is a gentle sweetheart who is nervous/unsure of some things in this big crazy world… with a dash of stubbornness. 😉

She was proving herself to be a quick learner during training today. 🤩 🙌

Today was a “jump start” training day for her and her family—she’ll return for the remainder of her training a bit later. 😉 Until then, her family is ready to practice what she (and they) have learned today.

Welcome K9 Beanie to the K9 Compass Campus!

Little Miss Beanie is a 7 1/2 month-old, super smart and super cute, poodle mix. 😍

She is a bit nervous/anxious and plenty energetic. She most definitely has a very sweet side, but she has been displaying some concerning behaviors.

-Displaying frantic behavior at thresholds— jumping, growling, and nipping at people and/or the other furry family members 

-Being intolerant to grooming and handling in similar manner (if pushed, she has bitten)

-barking, jumping, and nipping in route to the crate, then will enter the crate on her own, but will start lunging and biting at the crate when the door is being shut. 

I’m very excited to have the opportunity to work with Beanie!

Paws together fine folks!! Today was GRADUATION day for K9s Precious & Snowy and family! 🙌 🎉

I’m awfully proud of both of these girls! After providing them with clear rules, structure, and accountability they began to flourish. (Especially, the strong-willed Miss Precious. 😉) 🥹 They have come such a long way in a short time. 🥰🤩

Their mama is armed with knowledge, skills, and tools to continue with their training journey. I can’t wait to see there progression! 😃

And, I can’t wait to see them again in a few months when they come back for their off-leash training. 😃
