Welcome K9 Drax to the K9 Compass Campus!

Soooo handsome and equally clever & sweet—that’s Drax! 😍 He’s a 5 month old German Shepherd/husky/great Pyrenees mix.

He’s here for his basic obedience foundation and real world immersion training so that he develops into a well mannered, take anywhere, dog. I’ve had the pleasure of working with his family previously when I trained his housemate, Anna. 🥰 They have have been doing a fantastic job of providing him with structure and guidance right away.

On his first day of training with me, he has demonstrated that he is an exceptionally quick learner! 😁

I’m very excited to have the opportunity to work with Drax!

Paws together fine folks!! K9 Demi and family GRADUATED!! 🙌 🎉

Demi has grown by leaps and bounds during her training. After learning her basic obedience, she got to face this big crazy, sometimes scary, world and begin to learn that it’s not so scary after all.

I am excited for Demi and her family as they continue her training journey and exposure in the real world.

How is K9 Demi’s training going, you ask? Well, I’m happy you were wondering. 😉

She’s been working on becoming more comfortable in the big scary real world. She even got to practice in the store with her Mama! They both did fantastic! 🙌🤩

Right now she and her family have some time to practice what she’s learned before I get to see her again for her graduation day.

Stunning K9 Demi is back to complete her training. 🥰 (She had her first day of training way back in May. Kudos to her family… they have definitely been working with her—she passed the pop quiz on what she learned in May with flying colors! 😉🙌). Yesterday we finished up her foundation work in the training room and today was her first day to train in this big, SCARY, real world.
As you can see in the reel, she was initially overwhelmed at both the park and in the store. But, after working through it a bit, she was becoming more comfortable and confident. 🥹
I’m excited to see how she does after more exposure, practice, and proofing. 😃
