OUR DOORS ARE NOT CLOSING, THE WORLD IS NOT ENDING, AND NOBODY DIED :)
Just had to make sure I addressed the main rumors caused by my announcement that after November, "Pit Bulls & Parolees" will no longer be airing new episodes on TV.
So here are some FAQS to help keep things simple:
1. "Pit Bulls & Parolees" did NOT get "canceled." It was purely a business move when "big tech" came in and bought up several networks and merged/consolidated. With Animal Planet being one of the smallest networks, it was the first one to get hit. From what we have learned, no other AP shows have been filmed for almost a year. And from what we read, "the fate of AP is uncertain" So "in my opinion" things aren't looking for AP/Animal Planet. :(
2. Animal Planet treated us amazingly! We LOVED being on that network and we made so many friends there and they became like family to us. We were just as sad to see them leave as they were us :(
3. Currently we are not looking to go on another cable network/station/channel. Not saying in the future we won't try but at this time we have other plans :)
4. We have now created our own ONLINE "channel" What this means (for those that are not tech savvy) is that you watch our content on your computer or phone. Another term for this is "streaming" With cable costs getting so expensive, many are transitioning to this much cheaper version.
5.. When you join our ONLINE channel, 100% of the monies received goes straight to the dogs of Villalobos Rescue Center.
6. For those "Pit Bulls & Parolees" addicts, we will be airing a condensed "spin-off" version aka our normal day-to-day activities, called "Life With the Underdogs" Reminder...Pit Bulls & Parolees IS Villalobos and vice versa. We are REAL and nothing is scripted. You will be getting the EXACT same content and feel as in Pit Bulls & Parolees because IT'S REAL!
7. The Rabid Reality is simply the NAME of my new channel/network/platform. It is my Animal Planet :)
8. The different levels are: $3, $5, $10 & $25 per month. You choose what's best for you.
9. The Rabid Reality will be filled with podcasts and web-series with most being connected to a LIVE WATCH PARTY with me or others from Pit Bulls & Parolees
10. Our new platform/channel will be VERY internationally friendly/accessible. We are super excited about this since we have so many international fans that have missed so much of Pit Bulls & Parolees due to the way it is aired in other countries.
