4 years ago judging a Super Retriever Series event. Lot different than judging field trials with the scoring system but had fun the couple times I’ve done them. Anytime you’re around good dog people, it’s a good time.

Clients with dogs home, please be very cautious in this deadly heat. A couple easy retrieves is good enough right now until we get a break in the heat. Water work is not necessarily better as the water is very warm and requires a lot more effort to move than on land. The dog is also encapsulated while in the warm water which is of no relief. These dogs will literally retrieve until they expire, it is up to us to protect them.

Another one going through Basics. I have openings for preseason tune ups for previous customers and one opening for a young dog. I have trained numerous dogs that have succeeded in all stakes of hunt tests and field trials, as well as countless for US/UK military and law enforcement.
