Sending some special retirement love the Girls at CCA! 💌🐾💕

Earlier this month was National Black Dog Day and we wanted to give an update on our favorite Black Dog, 🖤Jake🖤, as he is enjoying his retirement.

Jake will still come by CSC for a visit every now an again but having served thousands of children, he definitely has earned his retirement to just be a dog.

He still loves and enjoys getting tons of naps, pets, and special attention. His new daily routine includes waiting on his "dad" to come home from work each and every afternoon. This boy LOVES a schedule.

We miss this "good boy" but love that he is enjoying his well deserved time off.

Today for National Fetch Day, we wanted to highlight ball-safety. One of the biggest risks during play is using a ball that's too small for your dog, which poses a serious choking hazard! Check out the infographic to help you determine the correct ball size for your dog and keep fetch safe!

Happy White Cane Awareness Day! 🦯

A white cane is a device that indicates a pedestrian has sight loss. Part of White Cane Awareness Day is recognizing that drivers or cyclists should be yielding to a person using a white cane.

Our Orientation and Mobility Immersion (OMI) Program provides intensive, personalized O&M training that helps people who are blind strengthen their travel skills, increase their independence, and navigate the world with greater confidence. This year, we're celebrating a milestone: 500+ OMI graduates 🎉
