She’s a chonky, potato-shaped sweetheart who loves everyone. After 8 long years in a puppy mill, living as a puppy making machine, she is finally free. She is resilient and isn’t going to let the past hold her back.

Sienna, Jasper, Sara and Georgia just went to our vet for spay/neuter, vaccines, 4dx bloodwork and microchip. They are all (except Sara who is pending adoption) in foster care and waiting to find their families!

A little about each…

Sienna (f) is a 22lb 3-year-old mini goldendoodle who was a puppy mill Mama who is very timid right now, but given time, love and patience, she will come around!

Georgia (f) is a 63lb 4-year-old German shorthaired pointer who was also a puppy mill mama. She was wanting to be everyone’s friend at the vet’s office. She just loves and wants to be loved.

Jasper (m) is a 17lb male mini Aussie. He was also at a mill and is a bit timid at first, but comes around. He would do best with an active home who will meet his needs.

Sweet 6-year-old Billie Jo recently arrived from a puppy mill, after spending her life in a kennel in a dark barn, οΏΌwhose only job was to have puppiesοΏΌ. She never experienced love, toys, treats or any any joy. She is slowly learning to trust humans, and how to be a dog.

πŸ’› About Billie Jo:
β€’ Bernese Mountain dog
β€’ 65lb
β€’ Loves other dogs and needs a canine friend to help show her the way
β€’ Must have a fenced in yard
β€’ She is a gentle, affectionate girl who is very shy and submissive when meeting new people or dogs, so must have a patient family who will give her time to come out of her shell.

We welcomed 9 more puppy mill dogs today!❀️

A big shoutout to Lauren at All Star Pet Grooming in Skippack for making Sara, Sophie and Sienna look and smell so good!

All of these dogs have had a really rough start living in a crate or kennel in a puppy mill (and used solely for breeding or are puppies who didn’t sell).

πŸ’• German Short Haired Pointer: Georgia (5 years old)

πŸ’• Pugs: Holly (5 years old) & Hope (8 years old)

πŸ’• Mini Aussie: Jasper (1 year male)

πŸ’• English Bulldog: Lola (4 year old female)

Cody update!!!πŸŽ‰

Does anyone remember the two year-old golden retriever we brought in last year?

He arrived completely shut down as his life for two years was in a crate in a dark barn at a puppy mill. Many of his top front teeth were black from trying to get out of his crate. He needed time, patience and lots of love. Thankfully his amazing family gave him just that, and he is now living his best life.❀️

The most rewarding aspect of rescuing a dog from a puppy mill is witnessing their spirit come alive and their ability to trust once more.

Derek is a charming 34lb 8-month-old Potcake from the Bahamas who suffered a broken leg from blunt force trauma. He is now fully healed and a happy boy. πŸ’• Derek is a loving and beautiful boy who truly deserves a second chance at life.

He is housetrained, neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and had bloodwork done, and is now completely healthy and ready for a forever home. Derek gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children!

Foster (or Foster to Adopter) Needed this Saturday for Lucy.πŸ’•

Just two months ago, Lucy was discovered emaciated and abandoned on a roadside in Jamaica. Fortunately, one of our dedicated rescue partners came across her and took her in, as she would never have survived on her own.

Now, at six months old, she weighs 16 pounds but still needs to put on a bit more weight. When fully grown, she is expected to reach between 30 and 35 pounds.

Lucy is a but shy at first, but warms up quickly. She’s great with dogs, cats amd kids! Shehas been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped!
