"Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, service dogs are not required to be certified, and businesses cannot legally require documentation or proof of training for entry."

Tonight I felt harshly discriminated against, for having a service animal, by the front line at founding farmers in Kop. The person at the front said they needed certification for my service dog. No, you do not! After trying to inform/educate this person in front of a small group, they said they will still seat us but the tension began.

Felt like a great opportunity to teach others that not all disabilities are obvious, but the ignorance of others some of whom just quietly stood by was very hurtful.

Not a pleasant experience, not the way to welcome customers to a business, not the way to offer ada accommodations. Eventually I did not even have the energy to request to meet with the manager or to discuss further at dinner with our guests.
