🐾 FIVE Lives. One Week. $5,000 in Vet Bills. We Need You. 🐾
This past week alone, SEPR has welcomed five dogs whose only chance at a second shot was you. Their stories are heartbreaking, hopeful—and expensive. With vet bills at $5,000 and climbing, we urgently need your help to continue saying “yes” to dogs who have no one else.
💗 Sonar arrived from a rural Minnesota shelter, likely once loved—her nails were even painted pink. Abandoned and alone, she now battles a painful bladder infection and mobility issues, all while recovering from her full vetting and spay. She’s still all smiles, her radar ears giving her the perfect name.
🐾 Bennett was left at a dog park, confused and heartbroken. From shelter to shelter, his body is now healing from anxiety, skin issues, and eye infections—but his soul still aches from the instability. He’s safe in boarding (at $300/week), but he deserves so much more.
💞 Precious, Bennett’s mama, is a lowrider sweetheart with bilateral hip dysplasia, arthritis, and skin infections. She's scheduled for a full dental and mass removal. Through it all, she wags her tail and melts into cuddles—proof that love shines even through pain.
🐶 Puddin’, a tiny micro bully, landed on a local euthanasia list due to medical concerns. After urgent surgery, we discovered a CAT TOY in her stomach—. She’s now healing from surgery, a spay, and will need dental work soon. Her tiny frame makes everyday life a challenge, but she’s full of life and sweetness.
🌹 Anna, rescued from a crowded Texas shelter, was just days away from euthanasia for space. We’re now awaiting test results to rule out tick-borne diseases and heartworm, while slowly building her trust. She’s starting to believe that maybe, just maybe, love is real.
💔 The hard truth? We aren’t even meeting 25% of our fundraising goals right now. But we can’t stop. Not when dogs like these still need us.
