Happy International Dog Day! 🐾💛

Around here, we celebrate Cash - and every dog that walks through our doors - pretty much every single day. But today is officially their day, and we think that deserves a little extra spoiling.

Dogs give us so much. The laughs. The snuggles. The long nights through puppyhood. The worry when they’re sick. The muddy paws, the destroyed shoes, the mystery messes, and the phase where apparently everything and anything is chewable. 😂

And somehow… we wouldn’t change a single bit of it.

They’re our best friends, our shadows, our comfort on the hard days, and the reason so many of our best memories are covered in dog hair.

So celebrate the amazing dogs in your life a little extra today. Give them the treat. Take the walk. Throw the ball one more time. And if you’re out and about, bring them into Roxi & Co. and spoil them a little…

because we wanna spoil them too. 🥰🐶

This sweet girl deserves a soft place to land. ❤️

Harmony is 11 years old, and after spending her life as a beloved family member, she now needs a new home. Sioux Empire Pit Rescue is working hard to find her a foster or forever home before Saturday so she can hopefully avoid having to transition into boarding.

We know there are a lot of amazing dog people in our community. Maybe Harmony’s person is one of you — or someone you know.

Please take a minute to read her story, share this post, and help us spread the word. Let’s find this sweet senior girl a place to call home. ❤️

THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING.

In the quiet of the morning, we keep hoping.

Hoping someone will look at Harmony and remember that the dog who has lived eleven years as a beloved family member deserves more than having her entire world disappear.

Hoping someone will see the senior girl curled into the pillows and think, she can come curl up at my house.

Hoping someone will give her the safety of knowing where she belongs.

Because Saturday is coming.

And unless someone steps forward, Harmony will leave the only life she has known and go into boarding.

Our hearts are breaking for her.

We don't want her shuffled from place to place. We don't want this beautiful senior wondering where her people went or why everything familiar suddenly disappeared.

We want to give her one transition.

From the life she is losing to the person who will become her next safe place.

Harmony doesn't know she's running out of time.

But we do. 😢

And we refuse to stop trying for her.

Please. If there is someone in your life who has ever said they would love to give a senior dog a home, send them Harmony today.

It’s going to be a BUSY weekend around here and we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Come see us, support some amazing local organizations, meet some adoptable babies, listen to some music, get those nails trimmed, and make a whole weekend out of it. 😂🐾

Sometimes people just need a little help. ❤️

If you know someone in our community who is struggling to feed their dog or cat, please send them our way.

Right now, we are blessed enough to have some pet food available that we would truly love to see put to good use.

There are no questions asked and no judgment. Just come into Roxi & Co. and let us know you’re here to pick up some food for your dog or cat.

While we may not always have a huge amount available, we will always do our very best to help where we can. And right now, we’re thankful to be in a position where we can offer that little bit of help to our neighbors and their pets. 🐾

Please share this so it reaches someone who may need it. Sometimes a bag of food can take one worry off somebody’s plate — and keep a bowl full for a pet they love. ❤️

To our team - thank you. Thank you for caring so deeply about this store, our customers, and every single pet that walks through our doors. The heart you put into what you do every day is what makes Roxi & Co what it is, and we are so incredibly proud of the little family we have here.

And to our customers - thank you for believing in us.

Thank you for voting for us, supporting us, choosing us and trusting us with the pets you love so much. That trust means everything to us.

You’ve supported our crazy ideas, showed up for our events, helped us support local rescues, brought your pets in just to visit, shared their stories with us and allowed us to be a small part of their lives.

Somewhere along the way, so many of you became more than customers. You became familiar faces we look forward to seeing, friends we laugh with and people we genuinely care about.

We love what we do. We love this community. And we will never take for granted the fact that you choose us.

🐾 MEET MISS MILEY! 🐾

We’ve got a new face around Roxi & Co, and we figured it was time you got to know Miss Miley a little better. 💛

🐶🐱 How many pets does she have?
Miley has quite the crew at home - 4 dogs and 2 cats! Soooo yeah… loving animals is kind of her thing. 😂

❤️ What does she love most about animals?
Being able to bond with them. Miley says she pretty much has to touch every animal she sees (with permission of course) because how are you supposed to just WALK PAST ONE?! 😂 She is an animal lover through and through.

✨ Something special about Miley:
Miley is on the Autism spectrum, and while she says it can come with its challenges, she loves that it’s part of what makes her uniquely her. 💛

🏡 Her favorite part about working at Roxi & Co?
Getting to be around people she loves. 🥹

We’re pretty happy to have Miss Miley as part of our crew, and we know you guys are going to love her too!

Some Thursdays our frozen food shipments come in HOT… well, technically very, very cold. 😂 And that means we end up with a whole bunch of these handy-dandy coolers!

We don’t have much use for them, but we KNOW somebody does! Camping trips, school events, garage storage, keeping drinks cold, fishing trips… whatever you can dream up!
