This is Peeka, one of our sweet boarding guests, catching some serious zzz’s belly-up. 🐶💛

When a dog sleeps belly-up (paws in the air, tummy exposed), it’s a big deal — it means they feel completely safe, relaxed, and totally trust their surroundings. Dogs only show their most vulnerable side when they’re 100% comfortable. It also helps them cool down, since the belly releases heat fastest.

Here are a few other common dog sleep positions and what they mean:
🐕 The Side Sleeper – Relaxed, happy, and comfortable in their environment.
🐕 The Curled-Up Donut – Conserving body heat or feeling extra cozy; also a natural instinct from the wild.
