Sioux Falls Beer Choir is this Thursday, Dec 7 from 7-9 PM 🔔🎄🍻

All are welcome to sing along with drinking song classics, original works, and favorite melodies updated with irreverent lyrics. This isn’t like your traditional choir - if you show up the night of a Beer Choir event, you ARE the choir.

No singing experienced required. Just show up, sing, drink, and laugh together!

James Dean Acoustic is back at Severance this Thursday, Oct 19 from 7-9 PM!

James Dean is a live looping artist offering relaxing multi-instrumental arrangements in varied genres including Smooth Jazz, Soft Rock, Funk, Reggae, R&B and more.

Through the use of a technique known as "Live Looping" James is able to build entire songs live on stage by recording each instrument as he performs, then “looping” the instruments back while layering the next instrumental parts in as the song builds. The end result is a full band sound performed completely live (without the use of any pre-recorded tracks).

Listeners are invited on a musical journey as the entire song is built in front of them piece by piece. In James' own words, "It's like painting with sound.". The new millennium version of a "one-man band".

First Stop Coffee shop has invited all vendors and pet rescues to set up on Sundays at their location from 10-2. You can still come out today if you want to. They are located on the corner of 12th Street and Ellis. I found out that the owner is big on pets and pet rescues and told her about this group. She'd like to be involved. As you can see there's a lot of space. Setup is free. 😁
