BIG NEWS...... Sinton Veterinary Clinic is growing!!!!!
We are excited to announce that Dr. Alexandra Jurica will officially be joining our team beginning June 15th.
Dr. Alexandra Jurica is a proud eighth-generation Texan from just outside of Houston. Growing up in her family’s feed store and family ranch in Shiner, she developed an early appreciation for agriculture, animal care, and serving her community. During high school, she became deeply involved in FFA and 4-H, showing beef heifers and Boer goats while competing in numerous livestock and leadership events. Following graduation, Dr. Alex had the unique opportunity to spend three months in Australia working with several Brahman ranches, an experience that solidified her passion for veterinary medicine. After returning home, she met her future husband and attended Texas A&M University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in animal science and biomedical sciences in 2019.
Dr. Alex later moved to Starkville to attend veterinary school at Mississippi State University. During her time there, she actively participated in outreach programs and served as both a school ambassador and tutor. She was also involved in the university’s bovine, small ruminant, equine, and reproductive sciences clubs. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2026 and was inducted into the veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta.
Dr. Alex is passionate about food animal medicine and reproduction, as well as small animal medicine and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her registered Brahman herd, fishing, traveling, and nature photography. She looks forward
to settling in the area and making South Texas her home.
Her addition to the clinic will help us continue expanding appointment availability and caring for the pets and livestock of our community with the personalized service and quality of medicine our clients expect.
