The last few days certainly feel like Spring and all the horses are shedding their winter coats!
We’ve been busy around the rescue, moving panels, reconfiguring stalls, grooming horses and more! Thanks to Casey S. for the 2 days he spent here helping us with panel moving and using his engineering skills to help figure things out! We’ve had another amazing volunteer who comes out 2-4 times a week and mucks stalls, fills water troughs and rotates horses out for exercise! Brian is a tremendous help! We sure appreciate all the help from Casey and Brian!
With the loss of Copper, we wanted to find another good fit for Keona out in the field. She certainly misses her ‘old man’ so we let Magic out and watched how they interacted. Quite funny, in the beginning when Keona wanted to go up to Magic, he’d walk away. Well, the 2 are doing so well together and we’re pleased to share these pictures
We had hay delivered Saturday and after Tigger checked for rodents, he felt the need to relax.
We have quite a few horses looking for a new home; some as pasture pet/companions, some green broke and some ready to be started. Schedule time to come visit!
For kids, we have minis in need of grooming and some love, goats who think they’re dogs and a cow who will lick them so they experience the feel!
Right now, were doing by appointment only !
