I’m so excited to be spending the next 19 days with these handsome guys! ♥️♥️

I do want to share with everyone that my kidney removal surgery 4 weeks ago went smoothly and the pathology report came back that I am cancer free! What a relief!

After this sit with Midnight and Baloo, I have one more scheduled.

It’s with a broken heart I announce that I will be retiring from house/pet sitting. I have enjoyed meeting so many people and making new friends, but most importantly, I have been honored to have cared for and loved each of your fur babies! I can honestly say that I will miss them so very much.

It seems like a long time since I’ve posted so thought I’d update all of you.

Last month I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, kidney cancer. This month I will have surgery to remove the right kidney.

I want to thank my clients/friends who have been so understanding about my need to cancel some of my scheduled sits. I appreciate you!

My plan is to continue with my current schedule with the understanding I will not be able to lift more than 10 lbs for 4-6 weeks. Staying active and moving is my top priority! 😊 And trying to keep a positive attitude! ♥️

I hope all of you have been doing well! It’s been a long 30 days for me as my daughter had a medical emergency requiring surgery in the middle of the night.

Thankfully, my scheduled client was extremely understanding and I’ve been home for her recovery.

A few additional weeks getting things done around the ranch and now I’m back to my planned house and pet sitting schedule. Looking forward to Thursday, so stay tuned!

Our geriatric dog, Diesel, has been keeping me busy as well. From an infected abscess requiring surgery, to pancreatitis, he’s had me at the vets quite a bit. I’ll attach a picture of him on pain meds. 😳
